  1. For me it’s without doubt the Mod Devices Dwarf.
  2. I generally buy my camera film from Japan via eBay, I’ve bought a couple of posters too. Items generally arrive within a few days. Obviously those purchases don’t attract VAT or customs charges, which might affect the how long it takes to arrive.
  3. Definitely.
  4. Ah, thank you. I’ll check that out.
  5. I’ve watched no end of video demonstrations of their gear. The demonstrations tend to feature someone playing very fast and distorted metal riffs. Is that all they’re good for though? I have a couple of their pedals, I do use them to provide distortion, I also use them - particularly the Alpha Omega Ultra - as just a preamp. Are they suitable for other genres and styles of playing too?
  6. Where would you get such a thing from? I’ve got something like that for my Ableton Push, that was made by the people who built the Push though.
  7. I’m looking for a padded dust cover, to put over my pedalboard when I’m not using it. Does anyone know where you can get such a thing please?
  8. This sounds fantastic Thomas. You’ll have to let me know when and where you’re playing. I’ve thinking about using surround sound, but using Bluetooth speakers from my MacBook. What’s your budget? They have these in the Electroacoustic studios at UoB. https://www.genelec.com/active-subwoofers
  9. These things are always very subjective. If you’re a jazzer your top 10 will no doubt feature loads of jazz players. If you’re a metal fan it’ll be metal bassists. My #1 of 2021 is Michael Manring who most bassists dislike. He released a fabulous album this year - his first album for ages. John Myung is still brilliant. Arran McSporran plays some beautiful fretless lines on the new Utopia album.
  10. I saw Plant in a coffee shop in Machynlleth two years ago, he has a place a couple of miles away. 1979 was a very good year, I was born in June.
  11. I wouldn’t go for anything expensive, you’re only going to whack the he’ll out of them with bits of wood. 😁
  12. Brilliant, thank you. I’ve sent him a message.
  13. Thank you. Do they make cables to your specifications? I looked on their website, but couldn’t see that they did.
  14. Thank, I’ll have a look.
  15. Sorry, my mistake, just a mono Jack. I’m seriously rubbish with soldering. Last time I tried I burned my finger and the carpet.
  16. I want a one metre long splitter cable, with 6.35mm TRS stereo Jack going to a mono Jack on one side, and an XRL on the other. It’s to connect my stereo pedalboard to my interface.
  17. I was after a new audio interface. I’ve been using an Apogee Duet for ages, but the breakout cables were annoying me. I settled on a Focusrite Scarlett. I couldn’t believe how prices varied. The manufacturer wanted £160, or £135 for a refurbished model. The price at other places varied from £130 to £150. I then tried Gear 4 music and got one for £99. Brand new, the latest version, and next day delivery was for £5.
  18. Yes, it's an amp/cab sim and - as someone above has said - you can import directly from your Apple Music app.
  19. IReal Pro is good. There’s a very good collection of jazz and Latin tunes, you can also download rock, pop and blues tunes too. You get a lead sheet - just the chord changes. There’s also accompaniment if you want to practice a tune - I’ve only ever used it for jazz - there’s piano, drums and bass. There’s a mixer so you can remove any of the accompanying instruments. Amplitube is pretty good. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitube5/?utm_source=iksite&utm_medium=promofilter&utm_campaign=amplitube5
  20. I remember reading that one of their gigs was detected by seismographic equipment somewhere.
  21. I’ve had this for quite a few years now, it’s been very well looked after and has always worked faultlessly. It’s in perfect cosmetic condition, no scratches etc. Comes with a fairly long cable to connect the unit to your computer, and the breakout cables. I don’t have the original packaging, I do have a decent quality carry case that it’ll ship in, it’ll be well wrapped with bubble wrap.
  22. I do have overspill areas, there’s a cupboard in the back room crammed with stuff. There’s also a lot in my dad’s shed. I honestly don’t understand how quickly it can accumulate like it does.
