  1. The HoF is a great little reverb pedal. Especially when you delve into the tone print feature.
  2. I’m sorry, I’m struggling to see exactly where I’ve done that? Where in my comment have I cast aspersions at anyone? I merely pointed out my belief that it’s the change in VAT rules, then made a joke that I hadn’t in that explanation mentioned Brexit.
  3. Complaining on stage isn’t at all professional. I’d wait until the interval and go home.
  4. I suspect it’s due to the VAT. Thomann are now registered for UK VAT, there’s obviously paperwork now that will need to be processed in customs - I’m guessing our customs? This wasn’t there prior to a certain event happening. He says, pleased that he managed an explanation without mentioning Brexit.
  5. It’s a super little device. I believe the difference between this and the HX is that you have total freedom with the Dwarf over the effects that are on it, and how they’re chained together. I’m only using the Cioks to power the other pedals, the Dwarf has its own supply. This is my current ‘pedalboard’ on the Dwarf.
  6. I tend to use either Strings Direct or Bass Direct, they generally arrive the next day too, though you obviously need to order in time for them to post them.
  7. Does it work when you are checking your emails in-between songs?
  8. Just to add that Fourscore isn’t just for scores or charts, it’s anything you put into it as a pdf. You can move stuff around easily, and organise everything into set lists.
  9. With the arrival of the B-stock TC Ditto x2, the pedalboard is - for now at least - complete. I still need the power supply which should be here next week. I went for a Cioks DC5 which will attach underneath the Pedaltrain. I’ve used EBS flat patch cables to connect it all together, they’re really nice quality with a low profile plug that doesn’t take up too much room. The first pedal is a Darkglass B7K, used primarily as a preamp, the distortion settings are fantastic though. Then a TC Electronic Ditto x2. The stereo signal from the Ditto goes into the fabulous Mod Devices Dwarf, which is also stereo and allows for each side of the signal to pass through a different chain of effects. The next two pedals are a Neunaber Immerse V2 reverb and an MXR M300 reverb. These two pedals are also stereo. There’s also an Ernie Ball VPJR volume pedal too, that’s not in the photo.
  10. SW has played there a few times, I saw him there a few years ago. I’m surprised he didn’t opt for there too.
  11. I’ve always preferred the sound of his JDs to the Status basses. I’ve never liked the sound of TE gear, I do like the MB sound though.
  12. Ah right, I’ve never been there tbh. I’m guessing they’ll add more dates later - in fact I’m certain they will. I’m definitely going to go.
  13. Go through the official PT website. https://porcupinetree.com Register with them to receive news etc. They’ll then send a link to the presale through Ticketmaster. The prices don’t look anything like those mentioned.
  14. Definitely this. I’ve never seen PT, despite being a fan for at least 15 years - Deadwing. I think a lot of the bass on his solo albums was him, with NB reproducing them live, though Tony Levin appeared on Insurgentes. He will I’d have thought need another guitar player Live, maybe Wesley will be brought back?
  15. I think it'll be good with Nick on bass - assuming of course that he does play.
  16. It gives you a list of dates at about the 15 second mark. I’m sure they’ll add a lot more though. I’ve seen SW twice, they were fabulous gigs. I think PT though will eclipse the solo shows.
  17. Yes, I got the same email from Burning Shed. SW played most of the bass on Insurgentes, there was I think just one track that Tony Levin played on.
  18. He is indeed. There was a video of him in sound check for Pineapple thief, he’s amazing. Check this out. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CVqO66yjkan/?utm_medium=copy_link
