I have heard about people switching items, there’s has broken or stopped working, so they buy a replacement from eBay, then complain that what they’ve bought was faulty. They then return their old unit and get their money returned through eBay, so they get a free replacement.

Slightly off-topic. I bought ten rolls of Fujicolor film from a guy in China for the bargain price of £9.65 including postage. So 96p a roll instead of the usual £6 or so. eBay then removed the listing, no reason given to me. He sent me a tracking number which I’ve been using, this shows my package is currently in Kent awaiting collection, I’m in Birmingham. The seller hasn’t replied to any of my messages, it looks like I’m not going to get my film though.

Good musicians of any description tend to be busy. On here we make fun of drummers, guitarists and keyboard players, but how many of us could be called to play ‘any’ gig at a moments notice? If you’re going to advertise then keep away from Join my band, it seems to attract some very odd people. Local Facebook groups can be good. They tend to weed out the guys who’re only capable in their own minds or bedrooms.
