    I guess I will go with EMG then. STK-J1 is pretty hard to find here (Serbia), and ordering them would be too expensive. If you guys think there is a better pickup in this price range, please give a suggestion. That GFS is much cheaper, but I ll avoid it because it's not hum-canceling.

    Thanks for the response. I just listened to some DUff McKagan stuff on youtube, I like the sound. Maybe a little scooped for my taste, but I guess that's just his eq settings. Do you have any information about EMG 35hz? Do they have enough treble? I don't like too much bass and mudd in my sound. Can't find any videos or audio samples.

    I have a pbass and would like to put one pickup in bridge position for more tone versatility. I m on a limited budget so I can get EMG 35HZ, Seymour Duncan STK-J1, or GFS JB Pro Jazz. Can anyone describe the tone and differences of these pickups? I m noob regarding pickups
