1. Located in Doncaster Dougal. Will edit the post to include it.
2. Available for sale is my Canadian Dingwall ABZ 4 string in purple. It's a passive bass but with exceptional control via the four-position pickup selector knob which goes from P-like to J-like including the typical Dingwall setting inbetween. Body is lightweight Ash and neck is maple with a Wenge fingerboard. Also features locking jack. Very easy to play and has great clarity due to the fanned frets. Comes with good quality Dingwall gigbag.
3. NOW SOLD. This is a chance to purchase a really gorgeous Spector that is as new as acquiring it just before Christmas and it being a case queen since - in other words - excellent condition. I saw an Andertons video and was knocked out by how beautiful this particular bass looked, made an enquiry and lo and behold the one in their warehouse was the exact same one with the same lovely quilt(?) top. It plays like butter with a lovely buzz-free low action. Comes with a quality Andertons gigbag which just like the bass, hasn't left the house as I've been using my passive basses when playing out - and I've decided passive is where I'm going to stay. Open to close offers. Possible trades considered - Aguilar AG700. Bass is located in Doncaster. Can courier no problem.
4. I don't have a problem with Fender reinventing the past it IS what they do best. I just don't see the point of these... replacing the AV line with something that isn't a vintage reissue is neither here nor there. I thought Fender were doing just fine with the AVRI line. Changing the years occasionally and offering classic colours had more mileage and kudos I would have thought. So now the Mexican basses are more accurate.. wot?
5. Dealt with Paul - nice and straightforward. Good comms and a pleasure to deal with
6. Just a heads up... it might go Tuesday... it might not! Let me know if you are interested should a deal not happen.
7. I acquired this lovely Music Man Stingray Classic on here about a month ago but I'm going to stick with my passive basses. I'll be looking for what I paid for it which is £1249 (plus shipping). Nothing wrong with the bass, I'm running a tight ship so it's available again. I might consider a passive Dingwall in trade.. not sure yet. I'll use the same photos... bass hasn't been gigged or anything since I bought it. It's in exactly the same fine condition. NOW SOLD THANKS
8. Little bump for a price reduction.
9. Available again due to some complications with payment / shipping outside EU.
10. AND SOLD. THANKS ALL.

13. Price includes UK delivery.
14. No other outputs apart from seperate 8ohm or 4ohm load... it's pretty sparse round the back (why didn't I photo the back???). Anyway, it's like this.
15. *** REDUCED TO £275 Inc DELIVERY *** This Vacuum Tube DI is the remake of the famed AMPEG SVT DI made by the original designer Obeid Khan. The jack 'thru' output (which can feed your stage amp in addition to the XLR house DI) includes the tube circuit in the signal path. Good condition and works perfectly. 16. Now sold, thanks.
17. I always try and match the radius of the fingerboard. I do this mainly by how it feels so that the same string attack gives the same results on each string. This does mean that the radius slightly lifts with the thicker strings which require a little more room to vibrate.
18.
I never use mine!
Whip it off and sell it to me
19. It's pretty amazing really that no one has manufactured a quality aftermarket bridge with built-in adjustable mutes. My favourite is probably the Musicman which you cannot buy separately. The Ric bridge is 'ok' when set up but may require niggly preparation work due to only having adjustments per side and the foam strip getting caught on the housing. I'm not sure if the material Ric uses is the best mute material either. One thing though - the mute is a secret weapon to great bass tone. I'm sure someone could design a great muting bridge if they put their mind to it. Musicman did.
