  1. It is worth noting that some of the custom shop basses are over £3000. I think that getting a refin is the best way of acquiring all the playability of a vintage bass without the hefty price tag and if you want to sell it it will be much easier. If you like it.....stick with it!
  2. Up for sale is my limited release Custom Shop Fender Bass VI. It has the appointments of a mid sixties bass vi including the damper and Tremolo etc. Although listed as used I have never gigged this bass and it is in as new condition. It comes complete with the case and all the usual case candy COA etc. This Bass is collect only, I am in Bishops Stortford.
  3. Just as a note I see the pix are not the best. If you need more please PM.
  4. Probably yes it is! and you get the rest of the Bass plus case with it!
  5. Just wanted to update this....from what I can recall this is from 1967.
  6. Up for sale is my MoMark 800 Watt Bass rig. It comprises of the 800 Watt MoMark chassis. The Pre amp is the tube version which gives a really warm sound. The eq section is the 7 band Graphic. The output section includes the VLE and VPF controls. The amp is mounted in the SKB case with the Mark rack ears. Also included is the Korg rack mounted tuner. Mains leads and tuner connecting cable are included. When I purchased the amp I wanted the option of the Parametric eq section. This is included along with the fitting toll and screws. Everything is in great condition as it has had very little use. This is collect only and I live in Bishops Stortford. Price is dropped to £450 I can't believe this is still here so one more go at £425 And again at £400....now sold
  7. Up for sale is my mid 60's Harmony H27 Bass. As you can see from the pics it has the original hand tag! It also has the original case. This is in decent condition for the year and has the tones that you would expect from these Basses. Dealer prices on these are around the £1500 mark and so I think I have this fairly priced. Not much left to say on this other than it is once fantastic piece of 60's history and and a great Bass. Please note this is collect only and I am in Bishops Stortford. Now SOLD
  8. I have had more enquiries re trades etc.....just to let you know that this is a sale only......thanks
  9. It appears that the web site update removed the pictures of this Bass.....they should be visible now.
  10. Hi All, I have had a number of enquiries on this Bass but all asking about trades. Just wanted to make sure you know that this is a cash only sale. thanks
  11. Price is now £1600 I am selling my Fender Custom shop "1960" StackKnob Jazz Bass Bass. Comes with the case and all the usual case candy. I am not sure which of the Blues this is but it is a light blue I guess either Sonic or Daphne (please correct me if necessary). The ageing is very authentic and tasteful and as can see the bass has the blue over sunburst where the finish is worn...I have tried to show this in the pictures. This Bass really has to bee seen. It is collect only and I am in Bishops Stortford. I have now dropped the price to £1800 Price is now Dropped again to £1600
  12. Gloss Neck....the Bass needs to be viewed to see the extreme subtlety that has been executed by the Master Builder.
  13. I have been asked a lot of questions re this Bass.....the most common is what is the weight...? My bathroom scales tell me it is 4kg.
