1. Trade for American 5 string jazz? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/200932-fsft-american-1997-fender-jazz-bass-5-string
2. Either a 5 or 6 string I think, I really need a low B. I'd need something professional looking that I could play in any situation, wether it be a jam night or wedding. And of course of similar value. Although I would prefer a sale.
3. Beautiful bass! If only I had the cash
4. Bumping. Any interest? MINT condition bass.
5. Any interest in this awesome bass?
6. Lovely looking bass! If only I had cash at the moment
7. BigRedX, that looks awesome! Love how it's all one piece. Mines basically just a chunk of wood painted black and matte glossed to match the black pickups.
8. That looks awesome! Loving the scalloped frets too. Kinda debating with myself wether to leave mine on it take it off. It doesn't look too good.
9. I know this is sometimes quite a conteravesial subject, but do any of you guys play with a ramp? What's your opinions of them? I have one (home made) fitted on my SR506, it makes the bass effortless to play, it practicly plays itself. But I have had to adjust my playing style quite a lot. Do you guys have them on your basses? Do you think they make a tonal differance? -Mike
10. Isn't it just! I love it, it's got silver glitter in the finish too
11. Sure man! Theres a few other pictures in there, too. Sorry about the quality, iPod camera isn't all that brilliant. 12. Thanks guys! The 506 is awesome! I don't have a bad word to say about it. It's effortless to play, the neck is so thin and it's a very light bass. I've not actually played either, so unfortunately I can't compare. Out of all the basses I own/have owned the 506 is by far the most comfortable bass to play, and one of the best sounding too! I'm sure you'll be fine with the build mate! Keep me posted on how it goes! Haha, maybe -Mike
13. Aw man! What a bass! If I had the cash I'd have that from you today! Good luck getting rid of it dude, someones gonna get a beast of a bass for half of what its worth!

Hey!

Hi! I'm Mike! Um, I don't quite know what to write here. I just though I better contribute something as oppose to just appearing in random forums! I'm a bassist from Sheffield, I've been playing around 4 years (I think..). I used to play guitar before coming over to the dark side. I currently play bass for two bands; one being an original rock band called Metröpolis and a pub covers band called Your Next (I know the name is grammatically wrong, but they guitarists seem to like the idea that the name fits across their knuckles, strange right?!). Currently, I play an Ibanez SR506BM through a Laney RB9 into two Laney RB410 cabinets, occasionally using my Boss GT-6B floor unit. I use a wireless system quite often too, a Shure PG14. I'm not one of those bassists that just stand there, I like to move around a lot on stage, and climb on things.. haha! I have a tendency to buy and sell things a lot. In the past year I've had quite a few basses. I've had; Warwick Rockbass Streamer (4), Warwick Rockbass Corvette (5), Hohner Headless B2A (4), Fender Mexican Fretless Jazz (4), Fender American Jazz (5), ESP LTD B-206SM (6), Ibanez SR506BM (6), Ibanez GSR200 (4) and 3 custom basses I've made myself. Oh yeah! I make basses! Thats it for now I guess! -Mike
15. Alright thankyou. Just a note though, this bass is literally new, it still has a year and a half warranty at Rich Tone Sheffield on it. I paid £424 for this bass new by the way.
16. Without the case I could sell the bass for £350 if you like? Mike
17. I'd like £380 please for the bass and gator case. I'm based in Sheffield. Mike
18. Very easy to work with and fast postage! Brilliant workmanship!
19. Sorry, I completely missed the most important part! £760 please.
20. I'm selling my *brand new* ESP LTD B-206SM bass. £380 with Gator Hardcase. This is a literally brand new bass, fresh from ESP. I originally bought the bass a few months back, but managed to damage one of the pickups, so sent it back to ESP under warranty - but instead of repairing the pickup they sent me a brand new bass. The bass has never left my gator hardcase since it came back from ESP 3 weeks ago (other than to test it - it works). The bass comes in a Gator ABS Deluxe Hardcase with the strap (Lucky 13, Nikki Sixx strap) and locking Fender F strap locks. This is a beautiful bass, it has an amazing spalted maple top. It sounds as good as it looks, too! It has a real deep but biting sound, cuts through a band really well. I apologise for the crappy photo, please contact me if you would like any more photos or information. I'm based in Sheffield, UK.
