Hi all, I have here a very nice American Standard 5 string Jazz Bass with Bartolini pickups and J-retro Preamp. This is was made in 2008 and modded to a high standard with Bartolini pickups and a J-Retro preamp. I have gigged this for many years and has done me proud, never any issues built like a rock and plays very well with endless tone options. I just don't play 5 strings with wide fretboards anymore. There are few dings and scratches which is I think reasonable for its age. No heavy damage at all though and not dings in the the neck back or front. I have done my best to capture the defects. There is slight misalignment of the J-Retro preamp and scratch plate but it is easily fixed. I didn't want to add a new screw hole with the scratch plate originally so left one of the screws from the scratch plate. Add one and re-align if you wish or you can always just stick a sawn-off screw there to fit the look. Comes with the original case which is used but has some life in it still! Collection from Bristol area, but willing meet within 40 mile radius. Cheers! Hi All, I have a awesome cab for sale, a 212 Genz benz Uber Cab. Amazingly punchy, warm, clear, powerful - I could go on! It's been the go to for the Bass Whisperer too who uses it to test lots of basses due to its clear and uncoloured tone.
