Hi Long shot but has anyone got a copy, or know which month/year the BGM reviewed the piezo stingray? I believe it was a Lavender Pearl colour 4 String? Probably early 2000s too? Thanks Dave

Overwater Original Series bass 1983, active with OVW filter preamp, volume and active tone. Through neck and solid Mahogany construction. Single humbucker with coil tap. Overwater filter active circuit with Volume, Tone Sweep and pull pot on the volume for 'pick attack' (12dB boost at 4Khz) Very early example in great condition, very playable with no neck dive. £950 Ono

Re post as my original thread seems to have disappeared and not showing up in a search or my posts???? 1978 Fender Precision, Maple and Ash with the thickest flame one the neck I've ever seen on a fender. ALL ORIGINAL. Comes with original bridge guard, scratch plate with matching serial numbers and original case. Amazing condition for its age, sounds and plays fantastic. Very good action and lovely comfortable neck profile. Plenty of P growl and bite but super dub bottom end with the treble rolled off. £1750 Ono

Overwater Progress II Built originally as a Fretless for me in 1993 this has an ebony board but I decided against Fretless after a while and had it fretted. It still possesses a certain character of a Fretless with pronounced upper mids. It's a Birdseye Maple top on Walnut body which I suppose helps the Fretless tone a great deal with a 5 piece maple thru neck. It's been played so much the pickups are shiney and even worn through the top colour slightly in small areas. Again a total player. Has the OVW Tone, Tone, Volume Pan active circuit. The neck is so slim it's comparable to a Geddy Jazz Nice and silent also with balanced jack or xlr out. Comes with overwater SKB case £1250

Musicman Stingray Classic 5. 1 year old in immaculate condition: comes with the case and case candy. 2 band eq, very low setup. Stunning bit of Ash and amazing Birdseye Maple neck. Plays and sounds amazing. £1300 plus postage. Located North Tyneside I'm happy to post outside the EU but as the bass has a rosewood board, which is on the 'CITES' protection list and requires an EU 're export' certificate which would cost £59 I would go 50/50 on that fee. Thanks
WOW that looks awesome. Is the Acoustic cab a 1x15 or 2x15 ? I have the orange 115 & 210 cabs and thought about getting the AD200 head but thta rig takes me back to the halcien days of proper big bass rigs. Dave
Thanks It's an Acoustic 406 (wide) model 2x15. Great sounding cab particularly with the Orange Dave

Up for sale is a VERY RARE WEM Starfinder 200 4x12 guitar cabinet. 33" wide x 33" tall x 14" deep Mid 1970s cabinet by WEM built by Rawson Sparfield. Fitted with period correct 1970s Goodmans Audiom 50s. Original white jack socket. Original 3 Pin Brass WEM badge. This cab has been stripped, filled and re tolexed in period correct black basketweave. It's been re grilled with black Marshall grill as the only WEM repro available was horrible plastic and not suitable for a quality project. The gold piping was replaced with modern reproduction piping from Solsound. The baffle has been painted and loaded with Goodmans 1970s Audiom 50s. It has been wired to run at 10ohms (essentially an 8 ohm cab) Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Collection Only from Byker Newcastle Upon Tyne or you're welcome to arrange your own courier. Well, done it again. Bought another 406 after restoring one and selling it last year. Found this one on eBay. It's in good original condition so I think just some basic remedial tidying and maybe new drivers but no more. -
