2. Vox Standard Bass. Mid 80s precision, solid body Schaller type machines, DiMarzio Precision pickup. Maple board. Great low action, lovely neck. Cosmetically there's plectrum marks, dings here and there but the only thing obvious is a chip on the upper bout. £150 Ono plus postage. 4. Hi I have a delta bass 300 head. I don't have the official foot switch so was hoping somebody did and would take a picture of the inside of the switch and the din plug? Thanks in advance Dave
5. Yeah, the build quality on these is easily as good as Mex Fenders if not better. Great solid components and electrics and classic looks.

Sold.

Vox Standard Bass made in the 80s, alder body I believe along with a dimarzio precision pickup. Good working order with no issues. Plays very well with a low action and no fret buzz. Everything works as it should. Controls- Volume, Tone, Phase Switch. Maple neck, Two octave (24 frets) fingerboard. Classic Vox Teardrop headstock. The bass does show signs of being well gigged with dings here and there, plectrum use and a large chip to the top bout and a crack to the rear of the headstock on the e string. It's never moved in the years I've owned it though. Great first bass, back up or main gigging bass that you wouldn't need to be precious about. looking for £150 plus postage or interesting trades but NO Squiers Thanks

8. I decided against the live in flight case and had it modified to a lift off. Was a shame to hide it and it made the cab VERY large. I've just bought a set of DAddario 5 strings off Dean. Not only a bargain but a simple thing and action and a lovely bloke to deal with. Thanks David
12. I've just traded a Spector for Graham's Fender 5 Jazz. The bass itself is excellent and I'm very happy with the trade. It's been a faultless deal from the word go. Great Comms, a very helpful bass chatter and al round nice bloke to deal with. Deal with confidence. Thanks again Graham Cheers Dave
13. Grahambythesea, feedback left in old thread. Traded my Fender Jazz for Dave's Spector Rebop. Transaction went without a hitch courtesy of Parcel Force, it arrived from Dave in well under 24 hours. Good guy to deal with.

16.
Have you tried a new/good lead?
Yes, tried multiple leads and in two separate properties with two different amps. The re soldering and shortening a couple of cables helped a bit but still obvious at high volume
17. A loud earth hum appeared on my 73 precision yesterday, I've re soldered all joints and re sat the bridge earth but it still hums and disappears when I touch metal. Any thoughts?
