2. Yolanda Charles? Wow! Didn't realise/remember it being her. Thanks for the information, I'll try some more digging.
3. It was a long time ago, maybe 15 years or so but I remember seeing a documentary on the tv about a female bass playerhaving a Sei 5 string custom made. I can't remember if the program was just about that or if it involved the band or generally music related. Does anyone one remember it or have a link to it? Thanks
4. Hi Does anyone know if it's possible to stop receiving updates in 'my contents' feed? There's lots of things I no longer want to follow. Thanks David

10. Does anyone have a lead on where this bass is? I had I built in the early 90s and bought it back in the early 2000s and then sold it to Rayfw. It's a Jims Cairns neck I stunning Birdseye, ash body in old English white, with real MM 2 band circuit and pickup, Schaller tuners and MM bridge. I'd really like it back if anyone knows of its whereabouts? Thanks
11. traded thanks
12. Placing a 9 volt battery across the connection terminals and check the driver moves forwards or reverse depending on polarity then swapping the battery round and connecting again to make sure it travels in the opposite direction. The battery is DC (unlike AC which music is) so will send the driver in one direction only which is why you reverse the terminals. Blown drivers don't move.
13. Two 15" drivers. Came out of an Acoustic 406 cab. Think the square magnet one is the original Cerwin Vega driver and probably 100w 8ohm other is 200watt 8ohm. Not tested at volume but both pass the 9v battery test. £35 the pair. 14.
I had a good friend around yesterday who is an excellent bassist and 'as you do' he was playing with my various Warwicks and discussing the differences (with particular reference to a Spector Euro comparison). I gave him the Zon to try just before he left... we were there another 20 mins just discussing the quality of tone of the Zon with comparisons to various basses such as piezo loaded Stingrays, Vigier etc. He was blown away with how natural a tone it has .
I'm not sure who this bloke was but I was there too and I have to say any preconceptions I had about tone were blown away. It goes without saying that a Zon has impeccable build quality etc but this bass sounds so natural and 'normal' I was stunned. It's tone is similar to graphite necked active basses I've tried or owned, a massive tonal range with a very tight and detailed punchy tone. Amazing bass.

16.
Anyone had much success at refinishing an oiled Euro Spector with a coloured wax or stain?
Yes I've had 2 refinished by Dave Wilson
