10lb 5oz GULP but my 75 Jazz is heavier by 1 oz

Cheers Burrito / Michael, The neck has quite a bit of flaming around the sides up to the 5th ish fret but i think its a trick of the light combined with the late 70s thick gloss lacquer on the fingerboard.

I bought this from SidVicious here on BC and have spent a pretty penny on it to get it back to life, I seem to be falling into a pattern of restoring Precisions It came to me in this condition, [IMG]http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u359/cd_david/78%20Oly/P101111_0949_05.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u359/cd_david/78%20Oly/P101111_0950.jpg[/IMG] but had previously been in this condition, [IMG]http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u359/cd_david/78%20Oly/P220511_1702.jpg[/IMG] It apparently was originally natural, then sprayed black then stripped and partially filled/sanded by Sid. It took a huge amount of prep from Genius Dave Wilson, filling, sanding re profiling of edges, and stripping out the neck pocket to get new paint in without over tightening the joint (which is now perfectly tight).
