2. Here it is with the custom made guard (57 hole pattern) and hipshot. Dave Wilson has excelled himself AGAIN with the paint and filling on the body, from what looked like a ploughed field to a mirror! Its got a new CTS and cloth circuit too, sounds beautiful, plays wonderfully too, good action on it. Im very pleased.

 8.
I'm all spent out but that is one lovely looking bass. Good luck with your sale
Its is a stunning looking bass with a holographic depth to the flaming. It also has one of the fullest Wal sounds I have come across, not just the usual lower mid poke but buckets of bottom end and highs. The neck has quite a pronounced V shape but a wide flat board and to be honest I found it a dream to skip around on. Good luck with the swap/sale mate.
 9. This came out of a 96 Jazz, Fender 50th. Anniversary bass, was replaced with an East Retro, so the wiring wasn't touched with only the pickup wires removed. Lovely Bakelite style knobs, not the smaller modern repros. In great condition, I have no idea what to ask so I will put it up for swaps WHY? Cheers Dave

I'd happily gig with that board, it seems to have most bases covered
Cheers Tom I have never had so many effects, i joined used to just have a filter, sansamp and tuner and then I joined a bloody Floyd tribute lol ATB Dave
 12. Power tucked underneath and audio on the surface, still going to get some etha type foam for the surace to stop lateral movement even though they are Velcrod down.
 13. New bigger board with everything on
 14. Just moved from a Boss BCB60 with its neat cable tidies and power distribution. Im going to keep the boss daisy chain power supply but does anyone have an suggestions for tidying the cables? I have a bit of an OCD thing with cables and dislike the spaghetti look was considering drilling the board and routing underneath or buying a sheet of foam a la Boss? Cheers Dave
 15. Comfort strap sold thanks, knobs still available bump

 19.
My first bass too. £46.00 from Paul Garvey Music Haymarket Newcastle. Circa 1979. Wont hear a word said against them.
I got my Hondo 830 from there, downstairs in eldon square, must have been around 1984. Whitley too btw.
 20. Blurry rehearsal shot, going to get a pedal board to fit all the pedals so i dont have to constantly rewire it for different gigs. Still I love it and them L-R EBS, Bassiq, Octobass, Sansamp Programmable Deluxe, TC Tuner, EBS Unichorus. Tru Bypass loop, with TC Nova Delay and below an Artec Vintage Tremelo. To the right some Eko Bass Pedals
 21.
Anybody got an idea why the new stingray nut is like it is ??? i have just ordered a new neck from MM and it came with this on it makes it almost impossable to replace with a nice brass one or the intonation will be out. ahhhh its all so apparent now !!!£££!!! i cant see any reason why the change was made, other than you will now have to order a new one through MM, i hate it. i can see they are now stepped but there is nothing you would not get on the saddles. i wish they would use the old warwick thumb bass "just a nut 1" that was a perfect design with the strings going over the screw heads set in the brass nut.
The nuts have been like this for a while. Its is to redue intonation problems, ie yyour strings are compensated for thickness at one end of the string there for with fixed frets the further from the compensation you go (away from the saddles) the further your intonation drifts. This reduces that by having both halves of the string intoned. I think its a great idea, mine work brilliantly.
