    Hi Leo It has a very clear sound particularly on the bottom end, I know a lot of 6s sound like a nylon up the very top but seem to lack detail and clarity at the B, this is very tight and pronounced at the low B and all the way up keeps the even tone. The top doesn't sound like a nylon string more like a steel or bronze wound acoustic, very ringy and definitely metallic. Whether this is the Overwater circuit Im not sure as I only ever run it mid pan and tones fully on, I presume its a mass and choice of woods thing. Hope this helps? I think I may have a very old recording of it somewhere, I will try to find it and upload it. Cheers Dave

    I swapped this with Bassman Sam last month, its a beautiful bass that had at some point been stripped and refinished natural, the finish had worn through on the front and back. I wanted to refinish it black (57 period correct AND RW like) so I took it to trusty Dave Wilson who did the original RW P I built. Stripped with a sleepy Mr Blues The back was particularly bad with the buckle rash exaggerating the grain just on the body contour and when Dave worked on it he has had to do a lot of building to retain the contour line but all looks fantastic. This is how it looks with the body filled and under coated. Getting exciting now

    No trades at all on thisa one, I need a new bike. Vintage 1976 Gibson SG Standard + bigsby all original parts apart from the bridge which had been replaced when i bought it about 4 years ago. Killer gibson tone Invisible frets. Low action plays like melted butter.Great condition and Plenty of life left for a 35 year old rock animal. Cheers Dave
