As has been mentioned, there's an attitude at work here, and as such he has to take a bit of ribbing. To be honest, I'm not convinced that it isn't an elaborate wind-up.
You are possibly right in the wind up theory. My comment regarding the EBMM site though is based on Sterling Balls dictate that any negativity like this thread reflects very badly on his company, I know we are not a company but we are a profession.
 2.
Been reading this thread with interest. I would agree that it's not particularly 'becoming' of a site like this or Talkbass to have a number of it's members berating a player but unfortunately once you've posted up a video on the internet, the world's biggest viewing platform, you lose a substantial amount of right to be offended by some of the comments that precede. That's reality.
I agree but, there is a responsibility to act with professionalism and decorum when talking about another bass player on a bass playing forum. Im not for censorship but the EBMM forum had a bout of these threads and they have clamped down on it with removal of the thread immediately and punitive measure employed.
 3.
Delusion or desire to continue playing the bass? Kicking the SH1T out of some ones confidence, misplaced or other is going to do nothing for him as a player, or us as a community of musicians.
+1000
..and as such is open to judgement from anyone who cares to comment.
Commenting and constructive criticism is a world apart from ridicule. I'm not saying that is what you have done Michael as I have not read the thread in its entirety but you have to admit there has been a certain amount of sneering and sniggering in some of the posts.

 21.
You could try a small fibreglass repair kit from Halfords or whatever.
+1 or B&Q sell fabric matting and epoxy resin, soak the matting in the resin and place generously over and around the repaired area. I have done corners on a rack lid before but that needed the aluminium mesh from halfords, same process though. Good luck.

 23.
I can see that you can download version 1.34 for Mac for the Pocket Pod on the site chap. http://line6.com/software/index.html
Cheers Dood, Unfortunately it doesn't support when the app is run on the computer, its states that it does on the support page though. I read on some forums and apparently the last version is 1.23. Thanks though Dave
