2.
I think that is Space Bass which was made by Larry Pless. I think Bootsy had it modified at one point to have five pickups.
that sounds terrible and i dont understand why there is a man in a nappy ??? Unless Bootsy rig extends down to the brown note
  3.
however... the first bassline i ever learnt was warhead by the uk subs
Ahhhh "Paul Slack on lead bass" Great bassline, First song that made me want to play bass was SLF Suspect Device, still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

  7. Although Brian is a newbie, I have known and worked with him for years and can tell you he is a great bloke and has only ever bought seriously high quality instruments. Buy in confidence
  8.
I just wish I understood the whole post.
Just re worded some of the posts but to further aid clarity, I have an east musicman pre, I want a REAL musicman pre, I would prefer a straight swap. But would entertain buying someone else's real Musicman circuit.
  9.
First up is something you don't see very often and took me ages to find one.
GORGEOUS!
  10.
Price reduced to £220.
This is an absolute bargain price for this synth, if I wasnt skint i would buy it, even if it was responsible for single handidly destroying the art of synthesis

Sold my Sound Card to valere24. Very fast payment, no problems at all. Great deal Thanks Dave
  14. This is an East Musicman 2 Band active circuit. It is modelled on the original Stingray circuit and sounds almost identical, very biting treble and huge bass. It seems to, however lack the aggression and distortion of the original, which is why I am hoping to swap this for an original 2 Band Musicman Circuit.
CD David has a very nice fretless model, don't you Dave!

I remember seeing those in the 80's. There was a shop here in Whitley Bay called Backline and they were the only place that seemed to have them.
Just found this thread, I did own one which has recently been sold And I live just down the road from where Backline used to be and that is where i fell for these basses, he had loads including the headless and half fretted. MMmmmmmmmmmmm memories.
  19. I managed to put together this rig in the autumn, bought the 100 head on this forum for 325 i think and got the cab off glasgow gumtree for 125. The amp is in great condition but the cab needs the filler in the baffle replaced but thats an easy job plus i had to tighten the grill cloth but that was a doddle too. I would suggest buying separately as they do seem to go for more as a pair. Good luck in your search.
  20. Some Milf (Musicman) id give it all 5 inches and the best 20 seconds of its life...................... (Fretted)
  21. Anyone have any experience of this and where in the north i could buy it? I need to refinish my ampeg PR 810h which has a satin-ish large flaked finish and not sure if this is a suitable match. Cheers Dave
