    Thanks for the input gents, Its the solid state one and its in the UK if they go for around 300 then it could be worth a buy and then repair the compressor. Will post some pics if i can borrow it off the lad. If i dont go for it i will out the owners details up for anyone interested. Cheers Dave

    Clearer images of the fingerboard, the marks are only surface they dont effect the sound and would come out with a very light sand.

    Been after an 8 string for a while now, didnt want to spend too much on one knowing it wouldn't get that much use, so just been down to Manchester to pick this up. Great construction, great sound and really nice player.

    Its funny how most people want flexibility in an instrument. I have had and still got basses with 2 pickups, blend pots and eq on, yet i set one sound and leave it at that, ALWAYS. My main gigging basses are an overwater 4 and musicman. I can get the sound i want with both these basses and never touch the controls. I don't think i could see a need to change them. I think that's why I'm satisfied with one pickup on a stingray, if i can get my sound with a bass that's all i need.

    I saw them at Newcastle City Hall on Tuesday, I cant recommend both eonough, I have seen both a few times bfore but i can honestly say both bands out did themselves, tight, entertaining, and very LOUD!

    Cant seem to find that one anywhere on Bartolini site. Do you know what the controls are as they seem to have 2 5 control models, V,V, B, M, T and then V,P, B.M,T. Cheers Dave
