4. Hi Howard The action on the Precision looks almost parallel. What are dimensions at the nut and bridge? Thanks Dave
 5. They were actually made for the Inner London Education Authority and are referred to as ILEA basses. Made as set neck basses for the schools with iirc emg selects and M3 bridges and schaller machines, they were sold for around 200 quid and they made very little money on them surprisingly enough Dave
 6.
That guitar show looks like my house!!!
Come on Nick get them all together for a new group shot please?????

 8.
I dont know for a fact if the neck was added laterly just assumed it was as theres a 3 year difference in age. How do you check the provenance?
www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-basses/ There is a serial number thread on there, If you post all the details ie. dates etc they will give you the history of the bass. Good luck Dave
 9.
personally, i think you could get more than £500
I would say its worth about £750ish easy. Have you checked the provenance? do you know for a fact that the neck was added after the factory? I have read that during the transition period they bolted anything together to use old stock. This could be one of those instruments. ATB Dave
 10.
...and another thing. AC quite possibly has the nicest headstock logo ever.... although I know there are a few people out there who cant get past the physical shape of the headstock itself.
I must admit it is possibly the most "unfinished" looking design i have ever seen on a high end bass.
 11. Ok just to clarify, I didn't see the band as they were in a marquee out the back of the hotel and i couldn't leave the room due to child sitting duties, so i don't know if there were 2 female singers although there was no banter between songs so i doubt it. I also cant confirm if the bassist was wearing a red beret. I was however wearing a lovely ensemble of green cargo shorts and a white O Neill T shirt sipping tea on the patio whilst perusing the John Entwistle Bass Collection book and the illustrated guide to the Fender Bass. Dave

 16.
Is it worth someone just calling the venue to find out?
Too easy.
 17.
Just on the off-chance, I've checked U2's website, but they were gigging in Wales.
Sorry Michael, but Adam Clayton and Playing Tastily dont really go together in my book so i know it wasnt him.
 18. Nah wasnt me so by my calculations that ONLY leaves 6729 possibilites.
 19. Just out of interest, I was staying in the Mill and Old Swan in Minster Lovell Oxfordshire this week and there was a band (Female Singer) playing a wedding on the Saturday night. Good selection of songs and some tasty playing. I was wondering if it was anyone from the forum? Cheers Dave
