. I'm 38 but look much older due to baldness/greyness!
Shave it all off mate, seriously you will never look back. I used to be as thin as a pin but "spread" a few years ago and Jesus its hard to shift but its going, I've lost 1.5 stones this last couple of months just not eating Chinese or chocolate and cycling about 5 times a week. Also returned to kayaking which does wonders for flattening your gut ATB Dave

Bought this for mobile recording project which has now downsized so i have no further need for this. Its in great condition but 2 of the hinges have broken off but have not damaged the case. The rivets have just broken off. Could be replaced but to be honest i hated them and they inhibited unpacking etc. I would prefer swapping this for a couple of NON shock mounted 4 or 3u cases but would also sell, paid around 200 for this so make me an offer, Im not easily insulted Cheers Dave
If I wasn't "retired" from buying basses we'd be talking Dave !!!
Too be honest Im having second thoughts about a sale, I played it at the weekend for a full gig only intending to play it for the first set but t sounded so good and played itself. I suppose im still open to offers but it is still very much a feeler. Cheers Dave

Thanks for all the comments guys, Its a gorgeous bass and as i said its a feeler, I don't want to sell but would like to change my car, settle a few debts etc etc ... you know the score. Birdy's post has gone but the bass stands me; Initial purchase (un working), electronic repair, ancillary work and paint by Dave Wilson, new East pre amp, Ernie Ball knobs, Chrome Strap Buttons, Nickel Screws, Total cost of circa 1100 , I would need to cover this or close to, to make it worth selling. Thanks Dave
