1. Sold Thanks for the interest Dave
 2. Dont do it Michael, The 71 looks stunning next to the TF, I think the finish on the TF looks like a cheap copy, the surface is shinny but there is no depth to it and there is too much contrast in the colour. The 71 looks gorgeous, well aged and matured timber, and "played in" a dream and the pickguard is stunning. Im sure you would seriously regret selling it. Why dont you sell the TF and put together a fretless hybrid to YOUR specifications not Tony Franklins. Or sell me the 71 at mates rates and 1 yrs interest free credit.
 3. £175 anyone????
 4.
Ha ha, if you were that desperate you'd be flogging the Vigier Passion on the wall. Wish mine was that colour !
Not my bass mate, it really does belong to one of my students who needs the cash to move into a new flat. I don't think i will ever sell the Vigier and it is a beautiful colour, what colour is yours?
 5.
Yeh - your dog chews it. Then what? It's rapidly going to need insurance and all sorts of stuff. They call that CityLink
I would have thought most of us would treat equipment with care. Maybe some people are less trustworthy however I assume all us northern bunch could vouch for the trustworthy members and likewise. I know Nick (Doctor of the bass) who lives southwards and would trust his recommendations and so the network expands and so on. Like i said you don't have to be involved, The thought of carriage costs or lack of case on an instrument could make or break a deal, or provide they buyer/ seller with the confidence of safe delivery. Just a suggestion.
 6. Anyone interested in our own distribution network? I travel a lot around the North East, go to the Cotswolds a few times a year and travel to London/ Edinburgh occasionally? I would be more than happy to have a bass dropped off at my home or place of work and collected at my destination? I know this could logistically be hard to achieve but might be worth setting up a thread that would allow the registering of travel details and obviously you dont have to subscribe? Anyone else interested in trying? Just a thought? Dave
 7.
If you were closer to brighton I would be offering now but its not to be
Anybody travel arrangements coincide with Tyneside and Brighton area? Long shot i know Ps Im in London on the 29th May. Dave

 9.
Agreed. BP mag has all the cockups of BGM, with the addition of extra adverts -- so, so many adverts -- and the deliberate misspelling of 'colour'.
I love Bgm, best read, doesnt come with 400 post reply cards that fall over the pavement as you leave the shop, the 66.6%-33.3% of pages of adverts to copy, and it doesnt split articles over numerous un related pages, "this article is continued in 43 pages, please find 1/2 a column inbetween the b&w adverts."
 10.
one of my mates maybe interested, what would your student friend take for it?
Make a reasonable offer and ill put it to him, should see him monday/ tuesday. Thanks Dave

 12.
That is a beautiful looking fish - what's the RRP on a brand new one?
$699 in the states for a 4 string or £370 for a 5 string in the UK
 13. Hi Im selling this on behalf of a student. I have cleaned it, set it up, action, intonation, truss rod tweek, and put some newer strings on . I have to admit wish i could keep this as it plays very nicely. Sounds great as well. Condition wise there is a small .5mm deep ding on the back of the neck about the 7th fret, and some buckle rash but thats all. Active with 2 vols and 2 tones, I think one is a sweep? 2 Humbuckers, and 5 bolt on, 3 piece neck. Comes with basic gig bag. Like i say great bass but i cant justify this as i have a deal lined up for another bass I think this bass is worth 175 of anyones money collected from Newcastle area. Thanks Dave From Spector. • Original Spector NS curved body shape • 3 pc Bolt-On Rock Maple Neck, 24 Fret Rosewood Fingerboard, 34" scale • Black Hardware, Spector Locking Bridge • High Gloss Finishes, Genuine Quilted Maple Top: Black Cherry, Holoflash Black (4 string only), Natural, Slate Grey • EMG-SSD passive humbuckers, active Spector TonePump Jr. boost only active tone controls • Width at nut 1.56", string spacing at bridge .75", fingerboard radius 16" • Truss rod allen wrench size 5mm, bridge allen wrench size 2mm • Five year warranty against defects to the original owner
