    Sorry to advise but I bought one of these belters just before Christmas for silly money from the German firm!! That's got to affect their re-sale value and what they fetched in the middle of last year won't be what may be achievable now.     Thanks ikay - the height-adjustable bridge is "loose" so getting the scale just so isnt plain sailing. Out with the metal ruler measure to the twelth fret and position the same distance again with a slight twist if Im not mistaken!!!

    Recently picked up a very sorry looking 231 (as marked on back of headstock). Can't find any info on Hofner's site or on Steve Russell's vintage site. Can anyone shed any light and if I post some pics could anyone offer a value (if any!!) Cheers folks and regards.
