Hi All, The nearest I can describe the intermittent fault I have been experiencing, is it sounds like my Bass starts playing with no Bass sound as though there is only treble in use the volume seems to sound louder and sharper. I use a Schecter with EMG active pick ups. New strings and battery installed and still the same. I got someone to measure the 4 pots ohms value on the bass. The following results came out Pot 1 Vol 3.83 Pot 2 3.83 Pot 3 18.80 Pot 4 Tone 13.67. I have no technical knowledge hope these results may reveal if there is an explanation.

Hi, I had one of these and tried playing it near on max for about 1/2hr or so and it distorted. I believe it was overheating and worked normally when turned down. Hope this helps

Hi All, I have only now noticed that during the bass solo of Alright Now by Free there is a run up half way through the solo. I have bought the Tab book music for this and its not been transcribed. I have been trying to make out whats going on but cant quite get it. Does anyone no what notes are playing to create the small run up?

Hi, They are only using 2 out front speakers, I wanted to use my bass pod but buy my own monitor to hear what I am playing and cut down on carrying heavy amps etc. I am vey limited on technical knowledge on setting up PA systems and add ons. I normally take my amp and plug and go. Jim

Hi I have bought a line 6 bass pod and it works well through our 1200watt PA system. I would like to buy myself a light weight monitor so that I dont give my self a hernia lumpimg the rest of my equipment. I have no idea of what I need. Any advice would be greatful Jim

Hi All, I have been looking round and found what I was mumbling on about. What I was reffering to was line 6 PODS etc. Line 6 have an online library where individual tones are stored where you download them to your pod via a PC. Does anyone Know of any other manufacture other than line6 who allows you to download ready made tones and transfer them to your effects unit. I found line6 stuff is generally more expensive than others. cheers Jim

Hi All, Has anyone seen a bass effects pedal that has different amps and guitars pre-set in them. I thought I read somewhere about a bass pedal that did this and also you could download patches for individual styles of songs to mimic exactly how the original was done. This would help no end if there was as I seem to spend a lot of time trying to fiddle with different settings to get near songs. If anyone knows of an effects pedal as such please let me know as I have some xmas money burning a hole in my pocket. cheers Jim
