Thanks chaps, it wouldn't be going anywhere if I hadn't just spent a tidy sum on my fabulous '71 Mustang bass. In fact if I am successful in selling one or two other basses, I might withdraw this anyway!

Aha, thank you for the explication! Well it does have a fitted Gibson case, just not the cat-friendly, pink fur lined one!

Tried this again at rehearsal last night. Thing of beauty but I am just not as comfortable with the semi-acoustic body as I am with my Mustang. Try me with a close offer!

In response to a lowball offer, I am not going below £1400 as I have already paid off most of the cost of my '71 Mustang and as I have a couple of basses I would sell ahead of this one if pushed (MIJ Mustang, Gretsch Broadkaster). Plus, to be blunt, a bog standard American Professional Jazz is £1469 new at Andertons and this is a rare-as-heck 33 y/o beauty!

Beautiful and relatively rare short scale bass, around 10 years old. Just doesn't sit right with me ergonomically due to hollow body. Made in Japan, top quality and only a few minor blemishes in the finish (definitely 9/10). Wearing La Bella flats and with original hard case. Collection from London (Hammersmith area) preferred but will post UK for extra £25. Sale only, no trades. Trying to pay off my recently-acquired '71 Mustang!
