1. Correction: headlining band have asked us to swap sets as their guitarist has to skedaddle early doors - we (Tupelo Uncles) are now on at 10pm
2. Thursday night, we are onstage about 9pm. All acoustic (no amps at all), with guitar/vox, bouzouki/mandolin, fiddle and yours truly bluffing his way on DB
3. Steve just bought a set of DB strings from me. As before, faultless and a pleasure
4. This? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/250608-fsft-fender-duck-dunn-precision/page__p__2629150__hl__duck%20dunn__fromsearch__1#entry2629150
5. I can answer Kedo, Harry is in the SE (in Kent). I can see you are in Edinburgh so its not a local pick-up!!!!
6. Perpetuating the BassChat circle of life, Gareth just bought back a bass that had already changed hands twice between us! One of BC's nicest most straightforward members and a pleasure to do biz with, as before. Enjoy that bass before we trade it another two times between us, lol!

8. Go to your BassChat profile page, then click the black box on right entitled 'Edit my profile'. Then go to menu on left and click 'Manage Attachments'. You will see all your previous pics and can delete them one-by-one so that you free up space and can upload new pics (everyone is restricted to 30MB of data storage on BassChat)
9. Excellent that it fits the bill, Chiliwailer. As a former owner I can honestly say it was the most finely crafted Precision I have ever owned and I have owned vintage Fenders, Alleva Coppolo's etc. Shame I couldn't handle the old school 1.75" nut width. Lovely bass and like a toy in weight!
10. Some of the ads are so badly matched to the videos too I quite often work withYoutube vids of chill-out/relaxed music in the background (eg flamenco chill-out or zen garden music) and invariably you have to sit through a 30-second ad for Grand Theft Auto or Ollie Murs latest video or that bloody nodding bulldog ...
11. Bake some bread instead, Nige Then I can look at it on FaceBook and imagine the freshly baked smell
12.
Aha, should have guessed,,,, Yup, cracker of a bass. Love my CS 1955 Precision, outstanding quality.
I sent a cheeky email this afternoon about this bass and discovered its just been sold. The ultimate GAS killer!
13. See post 21 Like Rick's Fine 52's latest incoming piece of early 50s gorgeousness but custom shop stylee
14.
Link didn't work for me, took me to all their makes, that's a bit excessive no?!
here's the one http://www.coda-music.com/fender-custom-shop-precision-bass-nocaster-blonde-p-20423.html
15. This is obsessing me at present but the price is WAY beyond my budget http://www.coda-music.com/electric-guitars-c-21.html
16.
Haha mate, nice try!!!! Actually, that's the one I'm buying in about 45 mins. Do you recognise it? This one used to be yours, and Legions, and Flex......it's stopping here though hopefully! EDIT - not from the Gallery though.....or at that ridiculous price!!!!
Nice one. It's a truly stunning bass, my issue was I cannot cope with a 1.75" nut width or it would still be with me
17. I love the concept of a player having one bass that he is identified with (Jamerson, Martyn P Casey etc) but every time I get near to one bass only I see pretty things and it all turns to filth
18. Chiliwailer - sorry to do this yo you but http://www.thebassgallery.com/product_details.cfm?ID=2804&type=Bass%20Guitar Edit: too late! Just spotted your status comment about incoming P4, ha ha!
19. The final post on that Wal FS thread said Posted 01 December 2014 - 08:56 PM "Decided not to sell this. It's a great bass despite the colour. Nothing a bit of gaffer tape can't cover up for a while... " Porky pie of the highest order, sorry but this guy needs to give a better explanation of his actions or be chucked out of BassChat in my view
20. As someone who has been on a couple of bluegrass tuition weekends (Sorefingers) and watched s load of YouTube clips of top bluegrass and old time players, I can say the 3/4 bass is absolutely the standard in that genre of music. Don't get me started on strings. I would probably own a desert island by now we're it not for my endless experimenting
