Lovely, is there a website for the company? Cant find anything on google.
Buscanti basses are made by a couple of guys in the US. One of them is a member of BassChat, username jazzyitalian. Here's his contact details: http://basschat.co.uk/user/5210-jazzyitalian/

I had a set of a Gut Twin strings from Ivan at Cordes Lamberts last May but sold them on as I didn't enjoy the feel (they felt a bit plasticky to me but then I don't slap so I wasn't really the target audience). I would drop a line to Ivan at . He responded to my emails (not immediately, mind you, normally took a couple of days)

Mike bought a bass tab book off me - all good

Isn't the issue likely to be phasing of the two pickups if you don't have the right preamp/mixer? Since K&K do a blender for a rockabilly set (piezo on neck [for clicks] and on bridge) I would assume that could cope?

Good work! I just cleaned up years of tarnish and gunk off the brass bridge on my recently acquired Alembic with Flitz paste (its what Alembic recommend for cleaning brass components) Link here, £7 http://www.transtools.co.uk/accessories/polishing-and-buffing/flitz-paste-polish-for-metal-plastic-and-fiberglass-50g
No chance - he'll be at The Emirates.
Correct. Back after a frustrating game, soaked to skin and having had to listen to some of the worst throwback 70s neanderthal football thugs "chanting" on the tube about Auschwitz, Hillsborough and "breajking your f*ckin neck". Mourinho must be so proud Back on topic, I'm (gasp) not GAS'ing for anything bass related, so wasn't me -
Nice one Dave and Mrs Dave! Lovely news

I have recently been listening to 'The Geese and the Ghost' by Anthony Phillips, the pre-Hacket guitarist for Genesis and its a great reminder how important he was to setting the tone for early 70s Genesis as well as a virtual-Genesis album (Mike Rutherford co-wrote quite a bit of it and plays on it, vox are by Phil Collins). If you like Trespass and Nursery Cryme this will be right up your street Here's a nice YouTube compilation of the album plus extras:
