I know Jon and the bass concerned and all the grief it caused him, starting from the get go (when JE supplied incorrectly specified machine heads if I recall correctly). You are of course entitled to state your good experiences with Bravewood but I feel its frankly over-stepping the mark to question the conduct of another customer who did nothing wrong and essentially received a custom instrument costing over a grand that was not fit for purpose.

My first band would also have qualified had we made it (some chance). Pretensious bunch of 17/18 year olds (post-Joy Division floppy fringes wearing 32-pleat Bowie trousers, electric blue chelsea boots and cavalry shirts - this was 1980) decide to follow William Burroughs 'cut up' methodology and randomly pick words from a book. The (perpetually cringe-inducing) result: sensation = grey/blue

K*nt and the Gang I can just imagine the guys having to explain that one to their Grannies when they say "so what's your band called?"

I had this with an old Acoustic Image head (from an early Series Contra combo) and I didn't get charged as it was marked as for repairing faulty goods

Botttom line: I would willingly swap my day job to play for Mumford & Sons.

I find them very repetitive (Mrs C has both albums and the second in particular, Babel, blurs into one frenetic, uptempo rehash of the first). Nevertheless, bitching aside, they have hit a particular note with the public and even got invited to play on stage with Springsteen last month. They are doing something right and I think they would probably give a collective middle finger salute to BassChat, while kicking back in their multi-million pound mansions! There's a LOT worse out there (anyone for "Walks like Rihanna" by The Wanted, for example?)
