Cracking gig last night! Next up is Bull & Gate, Kentish Town on Wednesday. Onstage 8.45 pm .

Just back from our gig at the Jazz Servants Quarters in Dalston. Despite the venue being empty half an hour before we were due onstage, it suddenly filled and we played to a decent size crowd. I played with my Kolstein double bass, rather than my Takamine acoustic bass - first time I have gigged this particular instrument - and it went really well. A lot more physical gigging a DB than an acoustic bass but all the more satisfying for it. Our Spanish/flamenco flavoured tracks went down especially well. After the fiasco at 93 Feet East on Monday (when we had technical problems and an @rse of a soundman) this was a very good and extremely gratifying gig

I must be their biggest fan as it cost me £130 for a parking ticket (my wheels were on the pavement; but which wardens are out at 9pm at night?) Good gig from the Jetsonics though, and the Mrs and I especially liked the reggae/dub number

Cynically I am guessing the reason it doesn't have a DI/XLR is so it doesn't massively undermine the Sansamp franchise

Hi all, although I'm no longer in the band there are several tracks I recorded that are still to be released (and hopefully an album). The first to be released is the band's new single, a New Orleans-style sleazy reworking of Tom Waits' fabulous 'Yesterday is here' with added Rattlin Bone coda. What time you onstage Ad? Not sure I can make it as have recording session previous night and gig following night and SWMBO may put her foot down. However, if its a mid-evening time, may be able to persuade her with promise of meal nearby ....

he is an amazing gipsy jazz guitarist (check out his album The Gipsy Project for example) but played alongside Jaco in the latter's last sad years and is very influenced by Jaco when it comes to bass playing (to the extent you could shut your eyes and think it is Jaco). Amazing musician who I was lucky enough to see live in London around 15 years ago. Good work Emlyn - any chance you could re-do in tab form?

Yep, they had 5 bands on and seemed to allow about 5 minutes to switch over and line/sound check. Very silly. I felt for the main act (after us) who was cut off after just 4 songs at 10.45 (we all assumed that the music finished at 11 ....)

I gigged mine last night (technically I have the B10, with different preamp but otherwise identical), sounded wonderful!
