I bought this to add to my '53 relic but have decided I am quite happy with the sound of the Seymour Duncan thats on there already (having sorted the pickup height and put new La Bella flatwound strings on). Those who know these, know they are the best '50s type single coil Precision pickups around. I paid about £70 including postage from Charlie Chandlers (see link below). Not even taken out of box. £55 posted to you. Recently bought from GuitarGuitar and only used for one rehearsal when I realised its not loud enough for my band. Wonderful clear sound but just not enough balls to compete with Rattlin Bone (I thought it would be able to as we don't play as loud in rehearsal as we do live ... but turns out we are still quite loud!) Cost me £399 and its the rarely seen red version (stock pic below). Comes with cute gig bag with shoulder strap. Collection/meet-up only in London as I don't have the box any more and have nothing else to post it in. Its basically mint and only has a few hours on it so looking for £350 ono. Prefer cash but would consider some sort of trade for an EA Wizzy 10 or Epifani UL110 (I already have a 12" cab, so has to be 10") Specifications for this product from the website:Bass Cub BG-100Lightweight bass combo,100W output,2CH,2 x 3 band EQ,limiter,Bass and AUX and MIC input, headphone out,DI out,pre-amp out12 x 10.8 x 7.8 inch (W x D x H)2 x PJB NeoPower Type A13.2 lbs / 6 kg 100 to 240V AC http://www.philjones...roducts/?id=120

The lead lady vocalist in Rattlin Bone, Karena Kelly, releases her debut solo single 'Midnight Walk ' on iTunes and all the usual channels on Monday. Its already available on vibedeck, so you can take a listen (and download if you like it ) Its a smooth, jazzy song with (to my ears) a cool Carole King vibe and I think it could be a mainstream radio hit if it got the right airplay. Link: http://vibedeck.com/karenak (note this is updated for new URL from my first post and should work now) It marks my first ever recording on fretless (the Fender '71 P/J thats now owned by BC's Mr_Bassman, aka Keith) and was mastered at Abbey Road Studios. Making my fourth appearance on this page (yikes), I just traded my fretless Wal for Jack's Alleva LG4 (which i sold to him a few months ago - don't ask). We really should stop mucking around, dig a tunnel between our music rooms, and pool our gear! If Beedster can tunnel from Canterbury to West London, he's in too!

Perhaps get some 'budget SIMS-alike' LEDs from Fretfx until you are comfortable with your fretless intonation on stage and then take them off and throw away? https://fretfx.com/
