1. Saturday bump, highlighting there's a £25 price drop to get this moving, so its £775 or per payment plan above: - £400 now with £375 in April - or £375 now and four monthly payments of £100 to BassChatters I know well and/or have had good dealings with
  2. Jon, NO I have seen this bass in the flesh and its a beauty. Gold will look like (as Mrs C says) "fur coat, no knickers"
  3.
If I was younger I would jump, but I have to consider weight issues by now so I'm afraid I will have to pass.
I know your game - you're really after the Noddy Holder-signed cuppasoup
  4.
Looks a bit naff.
As the old adage goes, "if you can’t say something positive, don’t say anything at all" - this is a FS thread after all Best of luck with the sale Lee
  5.
but you've still got your early 70's P right?
no mate, went back to its original owner Chris Kelly when I got the Pino My current roster is: Alleva-Coppolo LG4 Fender '71 P/J (incoming) Fender Tony Franklin fretless Bacchus 62 Jazz Fender Pino sold to make way for fretless and '71
  6. Well ye of little faith in me were absolutely right (yes, I know) - I didn't bond with the Alembic and have swiftly traded it on for this gorgeous Alleva-Coppolo LG4. I am only really happy with Fender-shaped basses and this - together with the Pino Precision - make one hell of a pairing. 7.
Don`t do this to me Clarky - its really not fair! Having played that bass the temptation is far too great - tho I am trying my best to resist.
Not wishing to stymie a deal but - ahem - Lozz don't you have enough Precisions mate?
  8.
What a thread! Arrogance, insults, appalling playing, missives from a long-dead bass manufacturing legend. All that is missing is some gratuitous sexism. So I wonder if this bass player has any Youtube clips?
In order to keep this highly valuable thread alive, can I just point out that 44 BassChatters have downloaded the picture of the bass-playing blonde in a bikini (of course it could be one BassChatter downloading said pic 44 times in which case I would start to get worried)
  9. Bump for those that had not seen payment plan option in post above ^^^
  10.
haha. Have you been drinking again?????
On this occasion I was not drinking and have no defence other than was bored at work ( where my computer has a much less valuable caps lock key)

Traded a couple of high end basses with Barrie. Worth repeating (as with my previous trade with him) that he is an absolute gent to deal with, even if he does prefer to do his business in petrol station forecourts!
  12. Just writing to say that is a wonderful bass and an absolute bargain (less than a new 2010 American Standard Precision and a Mexican Road Worn Jazz!)
  13. Would you trade for a large cock?
  14. Trade you for a picture of this bass?

  16. There's a thread on this http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...hl=Roger+Waters
  17. Its clear cash is in short supply right now and I do not need any more basses so a trade option is out. So thinking creatively here (and looking at BassDirect's payment plan), I would be prepared to sell this to a BassChatter with whom I have had previous good dealings or who has consistently good feedback for: - £400 now - and either £100 per month for four months thereafter or a one-time £400 payment in three months time (ie, during April) How does that sound?
  18. Random late night bump. £800 or would also trade for forty £20 notes
  19.
You are right, and I'm eating humble pie.
Thanks for that as I need you to show me the way
