  1. Cash on collection. £7,000 reserve. Literally at high risk of being mugged!
  2. I think it was Saturday 25th June 1977, the last of the 3 nights stint
  3. Definitely bittersweet for someone whose first gig as a teenager (and one of my most treasured musical memories) was Genesis at Earls Court in 1977. The instrumental medley on the documentary was excellent (won't mention track names in case it spoils) and I hope Phil's voice is back to (nearer) his former heights for those of you attending the gigs. Looks clear to me that he was a bit broken by personal circumstances during the documentary and hopefully the tour and working through those issues mean he is on the mend in more ways than one.
  4. Bargain! I used to have one of these, sold it to @Happy Jack around 10 years ago and he loves it still
  5. I see it now. It was published on YT overnight (14 hours ago). In my defence, I googled yesterday afternoon after reading WoT's comments and only the 30 second clip was available at that point. Here for others' edification
  6. Playing with the Wily Bo Walker Band (clip below), a 2 hour set of acoustic Americana and electric blues rock not too far from Loch Lomond. Saturday night and again Sunday afternoon https://www.callanderjazzandblues.com/
  7. Do you have a link WoT? All I could find was a short YT clip (around 30 seconds, with PC in a chair not singing awfully well, but maybe that was a badly chosen clip?) Thanks
  8. Bump! Very near offers considered ... and sorry, UK only due to a couple of problematic post-Bexit deals I have had with BCers in mainland Europe
  9. Fabulous bass but I have gravitated back towards long scale
  10. Only just seen this. How awful and so young too. Martin was always a positive influence on the site. RIP MB1 and sincere condolences to his family
  11. Despite being wonderful, just not using it. Back up. No trades thanks!
  12. How exciting to be briefly Banned! Living on the edge

It's a shame we can't set it up as a badge to win, isn't it?

What!?!?!?! I didn't even know that was a thing. Now I want one!!!!

  13. Not necessarily. Other fretless basses I have owned have dots between the frets (eg Fender factory standard Precision fretless) and here's another Aria SB1000 fretless with dots in the exact same position https://www.richtonemusic.co.uk/product/aria-pro-ii-sb-1000-fretless-bass-w-case-2nd-hand-yaria101922/
  14. Tim bought a CIJ Jazz bass from me and all was good! 10/10
  15. Or £575 collected/meet near me (Barnes rail station)
  16. How does £599 including UK delivery sound?
  17. Really nice playing, somewhat battle-scarred black/tort CIJ 1990s (1993 or 1997?) '62 RI Jazz bass. With custom US pickup additions, sounds great. About 9 pounds too, so a good weight for a J. Bought only a month ago, but I enjoyed playing it so much (after a longish spell with primarily short scale basses) that I went the whole hog and stumped up for a stunning 1999 US AVRI 62 Jazz in lake placid blue. Hence this is surplus to requirements. Price includes 48 hour UK delivery in a rather rudimentary but functional hard case. Can also be picked up from SW London (Barnes) *No trades thanks* Original ad here, more pics to follow
  18. lol! Not with LPB (at least for me)
  19. This just arrived, such a nice colour and rather hot IMHO Better pics than mine in FS ad http://davidjpym.com/page295.html
