  1. Very cool and I bet it sounds incredible ... but makes me think of chiropractor, lol
  2. Casual inquiry: would a Monza and Trace TE-1200 (800W at 8 ohms) be a disastrous match? Shame Trace don't do a less extreme powered head (unless you go all the way down to an Elf) (Edit: with my back/neck issues, I couldn't really confortably handle a Monaco ... to provide context)
  3. I just sold the Geddy Jazz so in a fit of generosity (and maybe even getting the basses collected at the same time, conveniently for me) I would take an offer of £750 to include UK delivery
  4. Sold through eBay
  5. The Bass Gallery has a very clean (if pricey) Fullerton RI Precision. Looks great and also pretty light (8.6 pounds) https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/fullerton-p-gally-on-me
  6. I think so too. It's £500 less than a new Mex Geddy and has upgraded noiseless pickups plus (I think) an even slimmer neck profile. Yes, some mods but the battery box is invisible to the audience! That said, the various BassChat FS fora are full of what appear to be absolute bargains that would have sold in minutes only a few years ago. Tough time to be selling
  7. No probs ... best of luck with your sale, although given how few of these there seem to be in circulation I doubt it will hang around. And its got green lights!
  8. Would you be interested in any bass trades?
  9. Just a quick message to let everyone know that John of Noise Works did a fantastic job of fixing an awful banana neck on an eBay-acquired 1979 Shergold Marathon bass. I bought said bass a couple of months back and did everything I could (truss rod, low tension strings, filed some proud frets etc) but the bass was virtually unplayable - looks like it had sat in its case unplayed for years with high tension Rotosound steels. I tried the Shergold forum on FaceBook (thanks @ash for reminding me of this forum) and some peeps recommended John. Eventually I went with their advice. Over the course of a few weeks, John heat clamped the neck, fixed the dents and bumps on the back of the neck and levelled/polished the frets. The result is a slick playing, low action bass with loads of 70s/80s cred. Very reasonable price and friendly service too. Recommended!
  10. I have the black covered Fender Japan originals - 10 minute job with a soldering iron 😉 and you could flog the DiMarzios for say £50-60
  11. Roderick bought a valve preamp DI pedal off me. Clear comms, super friendly transaction. A1!
  12. Try me with a near offer if you fancy this lightweight gigging workhorse
  13. Well I think everyone has had a chance to snaffle this and, having played through my Markbass combo, I can see some specific band situations this would be good for (eg recording), even if I have to run the power separately from my otherwise 9V only pedal board. Withdrawing and keeping in reserve in the hope those band situations arise!!!!
  14. I will include economy/48 hour UK delivery in the £650 price
  15. Comes with the dedicated cable and plug. If you run off a PSU, it will need to have a 12V capability.
  16. Would £225 (plus post at cost, if required) grab anyone?
  17. Bump for a very cheap high quality bass!
  18. Gary bought a tuner off me and - despite Royal Mail giving us a scare - all ended well. Top BCer as everyone else already knows 😀
  19. Dropped you a long shot PM
