1. Same here: I have trillions of fuzz pedals, but Aggie stuff is soooo good.
2. Oh my ... this isn't a joke. How much is it hand painted?
3. I used to have a Volt Thrower, some sort of highly modified rat, running on 18V or 36V (Headroom!). Really great and verstile pedal, due to the 5 or 6 clipping options. Especially the tone stack was amazing, those knobs really did something! Can get very, very loud as well. No problem in the mix, put it where you want - but then, my band doesn't have a drummer - it's just guitar and bass (and some noise boxes). I sold it, because it was somehow too versatile, for me, too many cool sounds in one box. If that makes any sense. And I'm more of a muff guy anyway .... Did you find the drum&bass demos, going through all the clipping options?
4. I signed up on TB, BC and Bassic (German speaking forum) and all 3 have something to offer for me. TB is mainly a great source of information, but it has quite a lot of people shouting around and claiming they know, if actually they don't. But hey, it's the US of A! BC is just pure fun, mainly, for me. I like all that sarcasm, not taking yourself too seriously and the like ... As it happened in this thread as well, actually. So, what about Wales? Bassic is actually kinda boring, but it has this local aspect and I can even meet people.
5. fat fuzzy bass tones anyone? It's also for sale elsewhere ...
6. 4x15"!!! Old dream of mine ...

9. SOLD-GONE-THANKS Hello up for sale is a like new, hardly used, Wooly Mammoth inspired, heavy, massive bass fuzz. Crafted with love by Gimp FX. This thing is LOUD, and there's Fat Freddy on it. But as I own 4 different rebuilds of that circuit, Freddy should go some place, where he'll be stepped on, instead of collecting dust. The pedal is in Switzerland. It's £49 plus shipping. Shipping to the UK (or Europe) is £6 economy or £9 priority. Paypal is ok. Cheers.
10. Thanks for reminding me what a great band they are! I think I'm gonna put them on tonight - oh no wait, tonight I'm gonna see another band from those times: the Young Gods, playing there first two albums "The Young Gods" ('87) and "L'eau rouge" ('89). I like this kinda stuff.
11. We don't have a drummer (anymore).
12. ups, sorry about that, I'm also quite old school myself, ....
13. I like those old school rigs, like this: or the Sunn stuff, of course:
14.
As the title says, Is there any reason I SHOULDN'T run these 2 cabs together?
Nope. Try it! IMHO, as much as the "don't mix" mantra is overstated, overkill is underrated.

Gojira Pedals.

Well, I'm a pretty unhappy customer by now. I orderd a pedal 3 months ago and still haven't got it. Scott never answered any of the emails I sent - except once, when he apologized for the holdup and told me the pedal would be shipped the next day - but this was 6 weeks ago and since then: no answer to my emails, no pedal, just nothing. One week ago though, he was having a sale ("25% off, limited stock") of the pedal I ordered 3 months ago ... ?!? So, I really don't understand what's going on.
16. Oh, headless basses, very nice, I have had this Washburn for ages. Any other bass I try just "doesn't feel right".
17. I use T Rex stuff, the Junior and the Classic, works great, worth the money, I'd say.
18. what a story, AMAZING, just read through the whole thing (work is boring), ... and to me somehow 'very british', you gotta lov'em ...
19. ... for example a pair (!) of Dynacord D 520 ... hmm
20. Thanks again for the inputs. I won't find out though, oh well, there will be others ....
21.
If my memory serves me well, which it probably doesn't, that could be a Triumph cabinet. http://www.voxac100.org.uk/triumph.htm catalogue pictures half way down the page.
Thanks for that link, "thermionic" sounds great, haha. And yes, I'm aware of the tear. The cab is on auction and currently my £15 bid is on top ...
22.
But on a serious note - what kind of mad, wonderful, out there music are you playing with pitched birdsong? I think we need samples
Well, the pitched birds are just background singers, but if you feel adventerous and want to have a listen, there is a soundcloud link in the sig. (there are two takes of the same setlist)
