Ian Parker gigs

Hi everyone, Please check out the gig list on my myspace page to check out gig dates for Ian parker, the artist I play for, as we have a couple of UK dates at the end of October and a UK tour in November. It would be good to see any basschatters if we're in your area. Come and say hello. http://myspace.com/steveamadeomusic All the best, Steve
2. Hello everyone, Just a note to say hello and that I've finally got myself a website online. It's pretty empty at the moment and needs some tweaking too, but I wanted to get something up anyway to have a web presence and use it to promote my gigging, teaching and bass related stuff. Take a look at my empty web space!! http://www.steveamadeo.com Steve
3. The BRIDE has been mounted... HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! This has REALLY tickled me!
4. QWILT. Ha ha ha ha! SWOMP. Ha ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA HA!!!! I'm REALLY laughing here!!!
5. Ha ha! I think I might try and rent a double bass for a while rather than taking the plunge and buying one. Decided to keep the Moon Jazz as it's so wonderful (I've still only used it on a couple of gigs since buying it earlier in the year...). I'm not 100% on selling the P bass but I've seen a lovely Lakland 5 string on here and I do have a 1969/70 sunburst P bass that I love and use more for live work than the red one these days. Nice to have one strung with roundwounds and one with flats but it's a bit of a luxury and... I would like a nice 5 string... Mmmmm.
6. Thanks Steve, you're probably right!

8. Thanks Kevin, PM sent.
9. Ha ha! Thanks Garry, bump appreciated. I hate to sell such a beauty but it's the only way to afford a double bass.
10. That's stunning. Good luck with the sale.
11.
Very nice... I notice every Fender you have comes complete with the same shirt.. [Nice shirt though] Good luck with the sale. Garry
Don't be daft (he says while ripping off his shirt and hurriedly putting on a clean t shirt)
12.
nice bass...can i ask you in what price region are you in?
PM sent
13. Wesfinn, it's reasonably heavy but not incredibly so. With a comfort strap it's been no problem for me at all.
14. Back for sale due to the need to buy a hollow-bodied bass for a new project at the end of the year. Refinished in Dakota red about 20 years ago according to previous owner. This bass sounds fantastic. A big warm sound with the included Rotosound flatwounds. The bass is clear due to the maple fingerboard but warm and full. The body is of medium weight. A very comfortable bass to play. There is no case with this bass. £850, collection from Birmingham or can deliver within 25 miles. Steve
15.
Larry Graham cant be wrong:)
True, but Larry Graham is insane. Have you seen that video with him and the Japanese drummer... insane!
16. No part exchanges or trades thanks, cash only.
17. Fantastic and rare jazz bass by Japanese company Moon. Ex- Randy Hope Taylor. Excellent modern jazz bass, versatile and full tone. original Moon pickups and hardware, Sadowsky preamp. I will include a new and uninstalled Sadowsky Vintage Tone Control in the sale. The body is standard jazz dimensions although it looks odd in the pics because of resting on a duvet!! £900. Price includes Moon gig bag. Based in Birmingham. Steve
