Howdy Ive brought and sold many a bass on this site but have never traded. please ecuse my ignorance but what is the general etiquette? and how does the actual trade take place. I would assume you would meet at a halfway point and exchange Im sure there are many variables but which is the most common? Would appreciate your thoughts Regards Mark

Howdy, Selling this beauty, simple fact is I brought this as its stunning and also for its potential investment potential. But I never use it Pictures and text coutesy of James the previous owner (many thanks mate) Its a fender "made in japan" jazz in surf green .A future classic for sure and a snip at this price The serial number is J followed by six digits, which indicates it was made in 1989/1990. The bass has been set up nicely, with a low action and sounds great! The pickup screws are a little bit rusty, so dont move fully up unfortunately. Bass has been cleaned up and strung with new rotos. the body has a few dings, the neck is fairly good for a 20-21 year old bass. Facts; The pickguard has got holes in it for a pickup cover, but the body hasn't http://www.fender.com/support/colorchart.p...en&color=41 - closest color thats similar on fender colour chart I AM NOW LOOKING FOR £400 COLLECTED payment by cheque, cash or bank transfer l, i can post to any destination in the U.K for an additional £20 quid, comes with a soft fender gigbag, probably not original. Collection from Birmingham would be better though. Bass Lessons On The Wirral/liverpool Area
4 candles replied to risingson's topic in Tutors Available
Liam is a really cool guy, very honest and tallented to boot. Whilst I cannot whole heartidly vouch for him as a tutor, as I am not a student of his, I can safely say he is a fantastic player, a true gent and a very knowledgable and enthusiastic bass player. Liam purchased a bass of mine a good while ago, turned up on time, was pleasent and had the readdies. when he arrives he trys out the bass he is buying from me playing all kinds of things from beyoncee to intricate jazz lines to slap, tap etc, but it was really natual as opposed to showing off, licks etc. He then played all of the rest of my collection of exotic basses (and made them sound better than I could have made them sound) I were really impressed how someone so youthful could be so accomplished!! His feel, sense of groove and timing were impeccible.(handsome B***ard As well!! and his tallent left me and my 25 years of performing feeling somewhat humble. Regards Mark -

Ive recently aquired this from Sean, but it now needs a new home as Christmas is coming! This particular Valenti is a Roscoe Beck alike with the following spec: please check out www.valentibasses.com customer gallery no11 for some pics Alder P style Body Pau Ferro Fretboard Sherwood Green Finish w/Matching H/S Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups 24 Frets, 19mm string spacing Black Hardware HipShot B style bridge UltraLite tuning gears Humbucker/Single coil mode for each pickup Tortoise P/G Aguilar OBP-1 (bass/treble boost only) Passive mode - volume pull pot Contoured heel for easier access to the upper frets A wide range of fender-esque tones are available and it is supremely easy to play. Build quality is second to none, the fit and finish being perfect. There is some very minor buckle rash and a tiny nick in the headstock, other than that it's in great condition. Price wise im looking for £600 collected or £620 delivered anywhere in the u.k. Unfortunatly I cannot acept paypal but any other method of payment is fine. In some of the photos the bass looks slightly blue for some reason, the ones where it looks green are more like how it actually looks. The photos in this thread are probably a truer representation of the colour. Regards Mark
