1973 Precision bass neck. Very worn, has that relic look. Headstock has gone really orange as if its been sitting in a smokey r&b club for many nights in a row. The neck has had a brass nut fitted and has been refretted at some stage. The last 3 fret wires have been removed and so will need redresing. £75.00 to any basschatter (tuning keys not included. neck only) Regards Mark

1973 P bass body. Very lightweight and has been routed to allow for the addition of an additional pickup. Bass has a black finish which is very distressed and gives it that relic look. Could possibly be stripped or soda blasted leaving a wonderful natural finish to the body Was using this for a project but no longer have the time or the interest. £115 to any basschatter (pickguard not included) Regards Mark
Mine has Kent Armstrong pickups and a standard J-Retro which has three stacked pots. When you say the pull up pot has its own control does this mean you can vary the amount of mid cut (either through the pot itself or via internal cavity adjustments)? Reason for asking so specifically is that it's the variable mid control on my Overwater that I use the most
Thats what I meant!!!
Not an overwater owner myself, but the overwater site says "with a choice of active electronics from Audere Audio or E Pro ‘J Retro' ." You need an overwater guru (or preamp guru) to tell you more ... Both of those preamps have stacked controls. And neither company offers just one option.
I am selling off my collection of basses as I am playing less and less these days and have far too many basses that never get played. Wanted to give you guys first dibs before I go global! All origonal 1982 squire JV with the exception of the pickups which are dimazzio which were changed some years ago when this was apparently the trend. Stunning body of zen ash I think as it has a lovelly grain. Maple neck with no issues. Bass in generally very good condition for 27years old and plays and sounds great with good action. This has been stored away for a while, origionally brought for investment purposes but now I have no real to keep it/her!! Keep your eyes open for some other bargains over the next few days. Although I am relitivley new to this site I have brought and sold basses and equipment from fellow basschatters and have 100% feedback on ebay I will be glad to answer any questions Regards mark

Mark - what pickups & controls is it fitted with? Looks like either vol/vol & stacked treble/bass or maybe vol/pan & then stacked? Do you know what pre it has as well?
Volume, pickup selector and tone pot with another nob on top which if you pull it up give a fantastic slap sound with its own control. The pre-amp and pickups are standard from overwater, I'm unsure of the brand mabye fellow basschatters can help me out there!

Hi Guys, need to shift some basses as I'm not playing much anymore and these are kicking around the house not really doing a great deal. Wanted to give some real players first shot before going on e-bay I saw a 57/59 custom shop which i fell in love with and so decided to create my own. The bass is constructed of a 1989 japaneese sunburst body with jap elecrics and pots. the neck is a brand new MIM maple neck. The scatchplate is a gold annodised scratch plate all perfictly combined to replicate a 57/59 P bass Im looking for £350 for this bass For furthur info or pictures please contact me. regards Mark
