  1. I think if this amp ever happens & manages to satisfy all the contributors it should be called the unicorn!!!
  2. That’s something to get you through the gig!
  3. It’s difficult for original bands in Devon. Mainstream covers bands can eek out a living in stinky poo pubs and holiday parks. But is that really living??
  4. As I said, I thought about 80%
  5. Quality is not maintained with deps, the arrangements are unusual!
  6. Our drummer last year did exactly 50% of our gigs, we had to use deps for the other dates. He’s always been busy with other bands and social commitments but I thought this was too low. I suggested band members should make 80% of gigs. He threw his toys out and left. Am I being harsh? I know jazzers are fluid with line ups but folk and rock it’s more tribal. Some of our music is quite syncopated and difficult to blag.
  7. NYE at the Bull Totnes. The new year in Narnia!
  8. Most festies & a lot of venues seem to be like that these days, I think it’s because they are set up for edm. It makes for a terrible band mix as the kick is always way louder than the bass guitar. In the audience you cannot tell what note the bass is playing. Aaaaah!
  9. After a while it can feel like Groundhog Day. I found it more exciting to do worse gigs but in different venues.
  10. Great shop, know their stuff
  11. Just get another db112, that’s what I did. Easier on the back than lugging a 2x12
  12. Is the prototype any closer? The concept sounds perfect
  13. Just picked up this early 80’s japanese Mesa clone. It was a combo but I’ve cut it down to a head 100w. Trying it at rehearsal tonight
  14. What are the dimensions please? Difficult to find an all valve head to sit nicely above 12’s
  15. would you post?
  16. I know it's a long shot but are the Evah pirazzi strings still up for grabs?
  17. I have a sr technology b300 combo I'd trade for it.
