1. Thanks Leen, yes I know those bars , not played those but have at The Royal Oak! But things are a tad tight for music with fewer joints putting on gigs , the move is to open mics.
2. Hello Bert, thanks for the hiya . And here is a pic of the kind I have got . http://www.dipintogu...elvstandard.jpg And here is a review. As with all semi bodies it does rattle and hum , but that doesnt carry through to the amp. A long neck and a bit unbalanced at times . The neck is painted rather than varnished so it does feel a bit retro. Good fun though and whilst I havent gigged with it I would think it would do fine. Here are the specs. Body: Mahogany Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Ebony with dot inlay and white binding Construction: Bolt on neck on semi hollow body Frets: 22 Scale: 34" Pickup: Two chrome single coils Selector: Three position toggle switch Controls: One volume, one tone Bridge: Tune-o-matic with trapeze tailpiece Tuners: Enclosed gear, pearl button machines Colors: Gold & Black or Black & White Pickguard: Clear And a review. 3. Hello from Edinburgh Scotland, I have been playing for a couple of decades now mostly accoustic blues/slide guitar and jumped onto the 4 string in '06 as I thought it would be more fun - and it is ! Play mostly in r&b, soul , blues bands and I am starting to write , mine is the last tune on this Scottish comp cd http://youtu.be/fbFX-MELqkU My gear is a 2007 Fender Jaguar for my main bass, a cute '74 Mustang for practice and a De Pinto Belvedere for emergencies. I have a 400 watt Euphonic combo which does just great and a Laney Linebacker 110w as backup. So I thought I would join here and learn and chat a bit.
