1. No problem. Think I have PM'd you now
2. This look awesome. Can you post it?
3. I didn't even know they made this bass in this colour. Amazing looking! Just wow!
4. I agree. There's nothing wrong with speaking to Krueger or their distributor directly. More than likely one of these things will happen. 1. Soundslive will repair it, bill Krueger for the repair and then send it back to you. 2. They will just forward the item onto Krueger for repair. 3. They'll take a look at it and if it's something simple and it costs less than it would to forward it onto Krueger they'll repair it themselves. So with all that said I'd contact Krueger. Krueger as the manufacturer will be footing the bill for repair somewhere along the lines, if it be Soundslive billing them for their time or Krueger paying their own stff to repair. So it makes sense to cut out the middle man. You may find in some cases they will collect it free (It's happened to me in the past, other times it hasn't). Certainly worth a go.
5. Yeah pretty much what I thought guys. just didn't know if I was over-reacting or not. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks it's bad. He did get back in touch and offered to pay whatever is cost me to repair. Have told him that I won't pay it. He either needs to or take it back. It's really not worth his time paying for a refret or new fretboard on a bass of this value as a good job would cost more than half of what it cost me. Cheers for the help. Hopefully I get my money back without issue and can start looking for something else....
6. Hi all. Not sure but I'm guessing this would be the best place to ask or show the issue I have. I recently bought a Fender Dirnt bass (Not from anyone on here). It was described a having some cosmetic dings from gigging. When it arrived I agreed it had this but instantly I noticed the frets. There were small chunks missing from all over the fret board right next to the frets, The frets were pretty flat like it had been dresses but not evenly and looking down the side of the neck there is portions missing. To me the bass looked like it had a refret which wasn't mentioned. After looking at the frets for a minute I was positive. Whoever did it didn't cut the frets correctly. For instance one fret will be as wide as the fret board, the next will be 3mm in from the edge and the next fret will be again to the edge so it goes big small big. They're not seated correctly and it looks like a really poor job has been done. I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks. Am I over reacting or does it indeed look like poor work? It certainly wasn't mentioned that it had a refret and the guy has admited he forgot to mention it but he's now gone quiet and I'm starting to worry a bit. Here's some pics of it: What does everyone think then? Thanks, G.
7. Nice bass. I too think the Hipshot is a vast improvement over the stock one. I'd like to see your opinion once you've got it setup fully to your liking against your other T-Birds. I have thought about one but I on't think I'd use it anywhere near as much as my reverse.
8. Hi. Does it come with anything like a COA? Thanks.
