1. I've never, ever had a single problem with mine and it's coming up for 4 years old. It does sound good as well, esp with those Yamaha cabs mentioned before. I'm selling this rig as it is shadowed by my TecAmp rig, but anyone reading this probably wouldn't be interested...... no reason why though. D.
2. How can you resist at this price...?? D.
3. A1 condition EBS Octabass Octave pedal, with original paperwork (inc. sticker!) & box. I just bought this earlier in the week, but I prefer the grittiness of the MXR I have. I just had to try the EBS and it's nice and clean and precise, just not the sound I need. £65 shipped. Sounds like this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgRKR-I0caQ 1:56 is a good point! cheers D.
4. 2 Unit power amp. RMS power: 2 x 205W @ 8 Ohms; 2 x 300W @ 4 Ohms; 2 x 480W @ 2 Ohms. We used to use this to drive a pair of Hysis 1's to great effect. It's not light at 14.5kg but in the grand scheme of things, it's not a heavy weight. Works perfectly and is ideal for driving a vocal PA or monitors. £145 inc. shipping. cheers D.
5. My second rig, that never gets used is up for sale; [s]Ashdown Superfly 500 head with original packaging. This much maligned amp works perfectly and really has only been gigged twice, but used at rehearsal a fair number of times. This was bought at full price before they were shafted by Sound Control (this came from SC).[/s] SOLD 2 Yamaha BBT210 2x10" 4 Ohm cabs. One has never left my house and the other was bought here a couple of years ago. Both in tip top condition. There's feet on the bottom of one of the cabs so they're stable when stacked vertically. As a rig it sounds pretty big and tonally very versatile. Can be used like a traditional 4x10 layout or stacked vertically. £290 for the pair of Yamaha cabs. Plus shipping. cheers D.
6. SOLD Used but perfect condition Korg DTR-2000 rack tuner (the one with the light) in original packaging. £100 inc. shipping. Pics avialable if required. cheers D.
7. Try reversing what you've just done - use the 420 as the pre and the 250 as the power, and see if that works. Either way though, you need to take your amp to a repairer......... D.
8.
Bump. DiscumBOBulator and Octabass under offer
Consider the Octabass sold - I'll pay you tomorrow!! cheers D.
9. Bridge the send/return with a short patch cable and see if it sorts it.... D.
10. Any pickups can be wired out of phase if there are more than one of them. If they sound weak when solo'd then the problem lies elsewhere as a single pickup (usually!) can't be out of phase with itself. D..
11. Could you do the EBS Octave for £65 posted?? cheers D.
12. Latest updates - pickup cavities routed, next on the list is fret finishing, final sanding and then the application of the lacquer/oil or whatever it is Alan uses. To say I'm excited is a gross understatement!! D.
13. Looking fantastic....not long to go now!! D.
14. The best of the current pedal compressors that I've tried is the TC Electronics Nova Dynamics. Extremely versatile and sounds very good and totally silent. It's actually a dual compressor or as I use it, comp/noise gate. http://www.tcelectronic.com/novadynamics.asp If all the knobs frighten you, then a very close second place is the EBS Multicomp. 15. No problems with the item bought - can highly recommend to any potential buyer. cheers D.
16. I have the Art active DI and although I've probably only used it a couple of times, it never gave me any cause for concern. D.
17. I use a Neotech Mega strap with my Wal, which is quite heavy and can easily play a 2 hour set without any shoulder or back pain. Highly recommended. They're about £30. If you want a slightly longer strap, get the guitar one - exactly the same but a bit longer. http://www.neotechstraps.com/product/detai...p;CATEGORY_ID=5 D.
18.
There was someone after a B2 brianliverpool? Might be worth checking the Wanted Section
Cheers, I'll have a look. EBS Multicomp now sold. D.
19. Multicomp possibly sold D.
20.
No one has bitten yet? Good grief!
I know! I gigged with mine for the first time last night and what a difference it made - so much more refined and controlled. I will be hanging onto mine for quite a while! Whoever buys it will not be disappointed..... D.
21. [s]Boxed EBS Multicomp - £85 inc. P&P[/s] SOLD Zoom B2 inc. PSU (I think I have the box) - £45 inc. P&P cheers D.
22. More updates - body & neck contouring done. It looks great! Look at the flame on that middle piece of mac ebony.... D.
