1. Friday bump D.
2. It doesn't have the facility for rack ears - it's designed to sit on a rack shelf or on it's own feet. cheers D.
3. Boxed with (old) drivers and software. Perfect introduction to a PC/Mac audio interface. Worked perfectly on Vista and Snow Leopard. £45 posted. cheers D.
4. Hi not used since I got my TecAmp stuff. Perfect working order except the wall wart has the plastic earth pin missing. OK when used in a permanent rack strip or 4 gang. Actually a very nice comp, with 16 presets for those that can't get to grips with how these things work and full manual mode for those that do. Full details here; http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...2&brandID=2 cheers D.
5. I also got one a few days ago and was truly impressed with the sound - exactly like using a cable, however the crappy batteries supplied only lasted 3 hours or so. I've got some Duracell Procells on order so hopefully it's not a dud unit. D.
6. The Smiths, 1985, Edinburgh Playhouse. Went on my own!! D.
7. Well one of the benefits of the East pre is the passive switch. Great idea!! D.
8. I've tried both in the same bass, and prefered the Audere. The J-retro is very nice and keeps the character of your bass. It wasn't versatile enough for me but sounded very good. The Audere has almost every type of tone in spades. Not as transparent but that's why I like it. Both are built extremely well and neither are a bad choice..... D.
9. Pics, Man! Pics!!!
10.
Deksawyer has modded his with a cushion by the looks of it... the sofa equivalent of a badass
No, a cushion is the Gramma Pad for sofas! And as mentioned, a cat or three (yes) will get the sofa looking relic'd in in no time at all....Mines a modified Ikea sofa (I'm not looking up the name - no way!). D.
11. Gobsmackingly Beautiful!! D.
12. Yeah, photo opportunity!!
13. I think we're going to be collecting our bases at almost the same time judging by our matching updates......looking good. D.
14. Icy North - tell me about it, it's freezing here. D.
15. More pics. There's a possibility, if Alan hasn't already cut the fingerboard to size, of the bass having a zero fret. Any thoughts?? D.
16. A bit of old (miss these cabs - fantastic) And a bit of new (well, a year old) Equally potent! D.
17. I have a genuine TecAmp cover for my M212 and it's pretty damn good. No idea what the Roqsolid covers are like but mine is really padded and has elastic tabs that get fixed around the rear feet on the cab. Front zip on both corners as well. Recommended. D.
18. The velcro supplied with the Spider cases is sh*te as I have just found out tonight. Trying to build up my new board and the bloody things keep falling off. Same problem as you. I think the wife has some proper VELCRO velcro so I'll try that first before splashing out on that expensive Pedalboard Tape. D.
19. I'm selling a Puma carry bag - look in the for sale section. D.
20.
What are the internal dimensions of this?
pretty much the same as the Puma heads - 27 x 8 x 25 cm; 10,6” x 3,1” x 10” D.
