1. A bargain at £30 posted. Does what it says on the tin. Listen to it here; http://www.digitech.com/flash/BassSqueezeDemo.php D.
 2. I have a similar device in the back of my rack. They're only about 40mm deep if memory serves me right. Around £35ish on ebay - serrler is Introdelta. D.
 3. Yep, this is one of a few DVD players that can actually hold it's own as a decent CD player. Compared to a Cyrus CD7, this sounds much more detailed when used as a CD player (I've recently compared them back to back and I couldn't believe it). Use an external DAC or upgrade using the sometimes hard to find Q7 DAC module and it'll take on most CD players. As it is, however, it sounds great. In other words, a quality bit of kit inc. remote control.

Transport - Integral Isolated Loader Mechanism with dual laser pickup
Disc Replay Compatibility - DVD Video, DVD-R, DVD+RW, Video CD, CD Audio, CD-R, CD-RW
Video Outputs - Composite Video, S-Video, RGB (via SCART)
Audio Outputs - Digital Coaxial, Optical, Stereo Audio
SCART Output - RGB video, Composite Video, Stereo audio, Function select
Power Supply - 12 fully regulated power supplies
External - Highly regulated PSX-R upgradeable
Display - Text/numeric LCD with subtle green back lighting
On-Screen Display - Switchable, displays Chapter, Title, Track, Index, Time, Status
Remote Control - Full function remote control facility, includes some AV5/AV8 functions
Communications - MC-Bus™ System bus
Looking for £150 plus postage. D.

 5. RE LS2; One just sold for £45 inc. postage further down the page, so would you entertain an offer for the same amount? Bank transfer of Paypal gift. cheers D.
 6. I'll take it please!! D.
 7.
How about an EBS MultiDrive?
I might have went for it along with some extra cash if it was the Micro Bass II.
How about a jonny Brooke jazz bass in White/rosewood board with no headstock logo and cash? Or an excellent condition epiphone sg special and £20?
I'm a lefty, so I'll pass! D.
 8. Look into the EV 767a. Far superior to the equivalent SM58. D.
 9. Not sure really - just anything that might take my fancy........... D.
 10. Fancy a trade on the Line6 DM4? I have a mint condition Peterson Stobostomp tuner. See here cheers D.
 11. Due to the fact it needs quite a bit of TLC and some workshop time, I'm willing to offer £200 inc. shipping. D.
 12. Looks good. Have you spoken to Alan about what kind of finish you're going to have applied? D.
 13. A wee bit more progress, my mouth is watering. Happy days! D.
 14. Here is a near immaculate condition Mk1 Peterson Strobostomp. It actually has the newer Mk2 internals as can be seen by the 3 dip switches inside rather than the original 2. I traded this a few months ago with BassJase and I've used it only a handful of times due to using the Korg tuner in my rack. It's amazing to use when setting the intonation on instruments and as I have my eye on yet another bass, it's sadly the first thing on my list to punt. Looking for £99 inc P&P. 15. I have one of these - it's bloomin marvelous!! Don't think too long about buying this folks as it's sure to be gone when you've made your mind up, especially at this price. D.
 16. I've used all of the 3 commons pres mentioned here in the same bass, the Audere, the J-retro and the AGC 02. All 3 are excellent and sound superb and without going into too much detail (cause I can't be bothered) here's how I pesonally rate them. 1. ACG 02 - very versatile - almost any sound imaginable. 2. Audere - a close second. Also very versatile from big dubby to aggressive stingray type sounds. 3. J-retro - very polite and almost passive sounding. Didn't have enough extremes for me. All 3 are built very, very well - it's a tough choice! D.
 17.
Ahhh, are you the bloke who I guess was inspired by my wood choices?
I guess I was! D.
 18.
Good choice of builder
I actually ordered it months ago but Alan's had a bit of trouble getting hold of some good Mac Ebony. I've kind of put it at the back of my mind now.... D.
 19. It'll be very similar in spec to the 'Lazarus' bass but with a Recurve Type S body shape. And a lefty as well!

Mac Ebony top with Sycamore/Wenge/Sycamore/Wenge body.
7 piece Mac Ebony/Flame Sycamore neck. Mac Ebony bound flame Sycamore acrylic finger board.
FB pickups.
ACG EQ01 pre-amp 18v.
Coil switches and low battery indicator.
Undecided on the finish - oil or satin laquer.
D.
 20. Well, you should be able to recognise that red carpet (although it looks cleaner than I think it normally looks!). D.
