What I have here are 2 B&C 12HPL64 Neo 12" drivers. Pretty much brand new - used only a handfull of occasions in a home made box. Cost me £100+ each so looking for around £75 each inc. P&P. Never tried the 320, but the headroom and actual volume available from this is astounding. Using the 2 Tech Soundsystems 12" cabs I never ran the volume past 11 oclock. This is with a loud drummer and a guitarist with a PV 5150 stack. I've actually ordered my new head which will be with me by Wed, so we'll see how that compares (if it's sh*te, then that'll be for sale...). I genuinely love this amp - it's the best bass amp I've ever owned, but I'm trying to reduce the weight a bit and my new head is coming in at 2.6kg. And it's made in Germany......... Anyway, if you're interested, please keep in touch... cheers D. -
Have a bump on me and a testimony to the quite incredible tone controls on this amp. I have never heard the like. The merest tickle of any of the tone controls and you have an utterly different sound, they really are very very responsive. Yes they all make a noise on turning on (and off in my case) but a great amp.
Cheers Stew! A wee bump... D. -
Where do you buy these cabs new from? A 4 ohm would be ideal for me! Do they handle low freq's well...i.e. Dub sounds???
Well, they're not going to compete with that Warwick 6x10! That's simple physics.... However, for such small boxes the sounds they can produce are pretty amazing. As far as buying them new, any decent music shop can get hold of them if they have an account with Rosetti. The RRP is £649 each! D. -

If it makes any odds, I'm only selling these to get the newer look cabs, which are pretty much exactly the same spec as these! Call me Mr Vain if you want.... These have had approx. 6 gigs and maybe 20 rehearsals. I'm also getting a new replacement tweeter adjustment knob for the cab that currently doesn't have one. I'm a fool I know. D. -

(I think the power figures above are correct!) Anyway, after a severe need to downsize my rig and make it even more managable, I'm looking to sell the NA650. This is without doubt the best bass amp I've ever owned, the sound, the quality, the power, the spec. It has it all. It has the most amazing tone controls I've ever encountered (I've been playing bass for 23 years) and I mostly play the amp flat, with a little mid boost and a little on board compression dialed in. The drummer is going to go doolally when he finds out I'm wanting to get rid of this as it's the best amp he's heard as well, so in the event that it doesn't sell, I'll be more than happy to keep it. Although it could weigh a tiny wee bit less. Comes complete with footswitch (which I've never used), rack ears/screws and original packaging. I've never had a really close look in a while but as far as I can tell it's in perfect condition. It gives a thump when it switches on, but I gather they all do that......also the stock photos make it look a bit gay, it looks so much better in the flesh. P&P Thanks for looking, and any questions, please ask.... D.

These amazing little cabs will be for sale if I get the new cabs I'm looking at. 300w 8 ohm and 10kg each. Both are in pretty good shape, with a knob for the tweeter adjustment missing on one and a small bash on one of the metal corner protectors on the other. At 10kg these are stupidly light - everyone who's lifted them has almost put them through the ceiling because they braced themselves for a heavy lift! They sound great and are plenty loud enough - I've been using a Nemesis NA650 (which also is for sale). Never pushed hard as I always went through the PA a wee bit. The newer styled equivalents are priced at £649 each! I'm asking £500 for the pair plus shipping. cheers D.

Me too!!

Hi Stephen I'd recommend keeping your cab and getting a small light weight head. Your cab is good and goes plenty loud enough. Get something like a TecAmp Puma 500. http://www.tec-amp.com/index.php?id=136 Never tried one yet but I'll be getting one in soon to try out. I've got 2 Tec 12" cabs and they're a great compromise between big cab sound and small cab weight (they're 10kg each). They're rated at 300w each and are plenty loud enough for me with my NA650. They're in the shop if you want to have a go (bring your red Shuker in!!). Feel free to borrow them for a gig if you want as well. I've never been taken with the MB suff, for whatever reason.....so can't help you there. cheers D.
You guys do know that Sx basses are already imported into this country. Look for shine. They're the same thing.
They're not the same thing. The factory that makes SX also make the Jim Deacons....but to confuse things even further, some JD's are made via EMD, in a different factory. I have an unbranded Jazz bass which is clearly an SX made JD, which has a Gotoh bridge, Barts and up until recently, an Audere pre. With a set of GHS Brite Flats it sounds amazing. D.

Babicz use this system on their acoustics and it's amazing. It doesn't even put the guitar out of tune when you go from low to high etc..... They're the only acoustic guitar I've seen with an action as low as an electric. Don't know how it'll work on a bass though....... D.
