  1. Very good quality audio interface, very light home use. Just much more tech than I can use. Details and spec here: https://www.esi-audio.com/products/u86xt/ Original box, power, cables and paperwork included. £180 collected. Quite a chunky parcel, so postage extra.
  2. Mrstheelvy raised a good point when I mentioned this, namely that 'postponement' is not equal to 'cancellation', in name at least. So refunds may not be as automatic as would be liked...
  3. Pro Co Turbo Rat. Good condition and fully working. Adapter included to get around a pesky centre positive mini jack socket power supply. (Adapter allows standard 9v centre negative barrel socket power input). £80 posted (ONO)

  6. I was willing to give this the benefit of the doubt and see what the reports were after it had taken place, but I do wonder how long this 'postponement' will be...
  7. It seems the only announcement on this has been the website page. Nothing on their social media apart from all posts being removed from Instagram. I'm still 50/50 on scam vs disfunctional shambles...
  8. Tascam Bass Trainer CD-BT2. Great condition, fully functional with original power supply. Velcro on bottom. £70 posted ONO.

  15. Not looking good there is it? I'm heading over to Brighton in a couple of weeks and was hoping to have a browse. The website's always been super useful for ordering a variety of bits and bobs.
  16. Amazed this hasn’t shifted yet! I’d snap it up if I was considerably closer for a collection.
  17. What's the neck stability like on these models? I always loved the look of them but had a bad early experience with a super-thin bass neck once which has always made me cautious!
  18. Just curious with the battery - is it for active pickups or active preamp?
  19. What’s the difference between the Crafted in Japan and Made in Japan instruments? Was it just a change in wording at some point, or is there a quality difference? Just curious as there’s one of these (in far worse condition) up for sale locally that’s under the MIJ tag.
  20. Things are slowly looking less sketchy for this, but still could do with some better organising. Was amused when I caught the comment below on their post… Also, any word on their venue changing again yet? They’ve been stating the CLS centre for a while, but at last check none of the rooms were booked for that date yet…
  21. Appreciate the input guys. In general, it’s probably overthinking things - the difference in height is about half an inch, but it makes the difference between obvious tension and a nice even weight distribution across shoulders and back. The lower setting is still higher than many wear their basses, so guess I’ll just get on with it!
  22. Any advice on keeping your back free of tension? I’ve always tried to keep my basses at the “correct” height, ie no strain to either wrist, but with my strap set to seated height, or even just below I get a lot of tension built up in my back and shoulders. Lowering the strap, even just a notch or two, almost immediately relieves it, but leaves the bass in a slightly sub-optimal position. Anything I can do to make this better, or should I just embrace the rock stance and get on with it?
  23. We haven’t had a drummer explode, but we have had one disappear… Woke up one morning to a message along the lines of “sorry, but I’ve got to go…”, and that was it. No further contact, social media disappeared, not one sighting… In my day job I even work in the same building as the guy and haven’t seen him since…
  24. I see that Bass Review Magazine are now advertising this event… 🙄
