My moment of the weekend was a realisation during Michael Manring's performance. There's no way I can understand how he does what he does (or keeps track of those tunings...) so I sat back and just basked in the exquisite music he was producing.
I wanted to try out some different strings. Got a bit carried away and am now suffering a rail replacement bus service home with seven packs in my bag...
It's not a plug-and-play amp IMO, in that with all the controls at 12 o'clock the tone is not great. It takes some time tweaking everything to find the tone for you. However, once you find it, it's a great sound!
