1.
And... just announced: LBGS to screen UK premiere of ‘Jaco’ http://www.londonbas...emiere-of-jaco/
Booked in!
2. Well darn. It's a rarity I use it, but is a useful tuning occasionally...
3. Hmmm, that is my concern. Low tension itself is quite tempting, but don't want them bottoming out on the odd occasion I drop down...
4. Quite tempted to give these a try. I occasionally use drop D - anyone use them with this? Do they hold tension/tone well detuned?
5. Definitely in the market for at least the TH head now. Are these still up for sale?
6. Yep, let us know! Having demo'd few amps today, this is now definitely on my shopping list!
7. Video's a little sketchy, but here's the first proper gig with the new band lineup: https://youtu.be/ja90S2Kl-n4 High hopes for this one. We've gone from a gig booked at the beginning of the year, to now having 4 festivals and twice as many other gigs on the books already!
8. Just saw that too, but then I think he has one of every pedal...
9. Well, arse...
10. Don't really know yet. Tried the LMIII and quite liked that, but want to give the Aguilar a go too. Already own a nice Markbass 1x15 cab though, so wondered how they worked together...
11. Bit late to the party here (welcome, by the way!)... Need a Portsmouth Bass Bash by the sound of it!
12. Hoping to go try both of these out (maybe some others too) side by side this weekend. Out of interest, anyone use the Tonehammer with Markbass cabs?
13.
From my experience, the stock Bad Monkey doesn't retain much low end. It may work for you if you're thinking of blending though.
I found it pretty good, not too much low end loss. Least, not for a pedal that cost twenty quid...
14.
Annoyingly the Bad Monkey (in its current form) has recently been discontinued so prices have risen slightly.
Has it? Was going to pass mine on to a friend, but no chance now!

16. The guys from Tera Melos - lovely chaps! Saw them in Brighton a while back at possibly their worst ever show (literally everything breaking and the show cut short in favour of a crappy blues jam). Rather than shooting off, they stayed and hung out in the bar with us for the next couple of hours !
17. Ah, had one of these years ago! Not keen to get back into heavy amp heads again, but this was the most awesome sounding amp I've ever played through! Recommend it!
18. Sounds good. I'm torn between the Markbass and the Aguilar TH500 myself, so hope to do a shootout soon... If it falls on the MB, I'll be in touch!
19. Full working condition? No issues raised?
20. Hi, don't have the TH500 to trade, but is your pricing £275 posted as a straight purchase?
21. Would be interested in the price of the amp alone if split...
22. Hi, are you interested in anything for trade?
23. Yes, this last one was a bit disappointing. It was a roughly £100 model, but has only lasted about 2/3 years... Not sure exactly, but certainly not as long as I would have expected.
24. I've used a Warwick Rockbag gigbag for a few years now, and it's beginning to go at the seams. It's been a busy time, so I guess it's inevitable, but it doesn't seem to have lasted nearly as well as it's predecessor.... Any recommendations for decent gigbags? Don't want to pay stupid money, but happy to pay for good quality! For reference, I need it to be fairly generic, standard basses in rotation being a Precision, Jazz, MM and Ricky...
25.
Robert Trujillo!
He's the current owner of a very special bass... You don't think he could be persuaded to bring it along do you?
