  1. MXR Bass Overdrive. Good, fully working condition. Velcro on base. £110 posted (ONO)
  2. Darkglass B3K overdrive. Slightly older model with tone switches rather than knob. Good, fully working condition. Velcro on base. £140 posted (ONO)
  3. Few article segments here: https://bassreviewmagazine.com/artist-jaco-pastorius/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR3iQLmOW13WSy93GUXDZTaL705wG-p27C4U0xvsILNmnH0BXxaOqn4Q-vM_aem_AdPPTvwDwUDnVCSN-oYr-LqFV5xnQ5a4ntEyZJ7vx1pQQrG4-5n89sO5eJHE65dUeIg35wXJsI-7QjwqRppjZb_D TBH, the Jaco 'Artist Spotlight' doesn't really say much more than this...
  4. Got to say, same here. I'm happy to see how things play out and get back into it in due course, but the same issues seem to be happening across the board.
  5. Curious to other’s thoughts on this. Have read the first edition and it felt like it may have been mostly AI generated? Seemed to repeat itself a lot and not really cover any new ground. It’s only just started, so don’t want to judge too harshly!
  6. Going up on eBay this evening, so last chance to jump in before it (hopefully) goes elsewhere!
  7. Interesting. Requires some different routing, but could work well.
  8. So, hear me out... The HX Stomp is quite tempting, but with a set of go-to pedals already it's difficult to figure out where it would sit with them. Pondering the alternative of two HX Ones at different points in the chain... It's a bit more space taken up, but easy to plan in different effects combos, and easier to power! Costs work out much the same, so it's more a case of how much space it takes up. No need for amp Sims, so am I missing anything with this?
  9. Electro Harmonix Superego sustainer pedal. Many options for freezing a note and adding additional effects via the built-in loop. Excellent pedal, just not getting any use right now. Very good, fully working condition. Velcro on back, and just a hint of residue from a previous label on the front. This hasn’t damaged any of the finish though. £120 posted (ONO)
  10. Can vouch for these as an excellent OC-2 clone!
  11. MXR Custom Badass ‘78 Distortion Pedal. Based on the Boss DS-1 and (I believe) one of the old Keeley mods. Guitar pedal really, but sounds good on bass too. Very good, fully working condition. £60 posted.
  12. Giving this a trial run: https://bassreview.co.uk Edition 1 just coming out. Looks like it’s covering a lot of old ground, but got to start somewhere I suppose…
  13. My preamp-DI of choice is the Aguilar Tone Hammer, but their AG preamp pedal looks good too. Have used the EBS and it doe the job really well. Sansamp VT or Bass Driver are great, but do have a very specific tone. Happens to be one that most people like though… The Sadowsky SBP is great for super-clean bass, but very limited options.
  14. There’s octave down going on there. If using the pedals listed above, I would guess either the OC-2 with octave down isolated, OR the EHX Micro Synth on a low octave. There’s a bit of grit too, so potentially the MS again, or one of the fuzzes with a lowish gain setting.
  15. No, not adjustable at all. I’ll have a look into the options though. Only need two, so not too bad.
  16. Checked out the Barefoot toppers. Pricey, but I've had a good run recently over in the marketplace forum, so can probably splash out!
  17. Has anyone fitted footswitch toppers to their Future Impact? I’ve got mine set back on the board, and these would help with avoiding knocking other switches on the way over… I’ve got some of the coloured Mooer toppers, but they are too small to fit on.
  18. DOD FX25 envelope filter In good, fully working condition. The clip on the battery compartment is not as firm as it once was, but will still clip in and stay in place. £120 posted (ONO)
  19. MXR Bass Octave Deluxe pedal. Fully working, good condition bar one nick in the finish at the front (pictured). Velcro (and a fair bit of cat hair apparently) on the back, but easily removed if not wanted. £100 posted (ONO)

  20. Update - Used some electrical switch cleaner this morning, which has helped the octave switch work a little better. Still glitching out occasionally, but less than before. May need a deeper clean / more TLC.
  21. MXR Vintage Bass Octave. Very good, fully working condition. Light home use only. £120 posted.
  22. Hi, Please send a PM through Basschat messenger, thanks.
  23. Emma Electronic Okto Nojs fuzz/octave pedal. Good condition BUT: The pedal has developed a bit of a glitch where the octave side occasionally disengages itself (fuzz side unaffected). All sounds and works perfectly well when on, but will sometimes just switch itself off. May just be a dirty switch. £80 posted.
  24. Classic Boss SYB-5 synth. Fully working and in very good condition. Good sounds but not getting any use here anymore. £70 including UK postage.
