1. Clearing out a load of pedals that are not getting any use any more! All come minus any packaging or instructions apart from the Synth Wah, which is boxed -unused. All pedals have velcro fitted to the bottom, which is easily removed, but any rubber feet that were are now long gone I'm afraid. All in perfect working order unless otherwise stated. All prices now include postage! UK Deliveries only please. Prices, and any additional comments, as follows: [s]EH Big Muff - £30 SOLD![/s] [s]ProCo Turbo Rat - £40 - Good solid distortion. 2. Latest update:
3. Yeah, I guessed something along those lines...
4. Ok string geeks, here's a query for you: I have a Fender Jazz (through body stringing) and a Musicman Stingray both set up with the same strings (D'addario 45-105 steels). In standard tuning, both are fine. Detune the Jazz however, and I lose all usable tension beyond a low D, yet I've tuned the bottom string down to a usable (just) low A on the MM. Both are the same scale length, so what gives? Is it the construction of the basses? Does through-body stringing make that much difference? Confused...
5. Coming and going from these strings. Just starting up a new project with a friend with a drop-c tuning. Going to give the 50-120 set a go for that. Would prefer steel, but this is a lot more affordable that getting the individual strings!
6. Been a while. Is this still going?
7. Just a heads up for those looking for cheap filters - have found myself needing a reasonable envelope filter. Now, all the ones I'd really like are a little beyond what I have in ready cash, so was browsing for a cheap-ish but still reasonable unit to use in the meantime. Have looked at the Digitech Bass Synth Wah before, so I figured it was worth having a look around for one, or something similar... If you're after one, get onto Amazon! £33 and free delivery in the UK! Can't really go wrong!
8. Same settings (possibly plus a couple of extras). Better tracking (at least with the Chord setting), easier powering, better bypass with the new one. Is annoying that there isn't a settings change pedal like on the old model though...
9. Just gearing up for a stint in a function band. Suits all the way there, I feel!
10. So, it's had new pickups put in, been set up, cleaned up etc etc... Good, good... Please, somebody give the bass some new straplocks!!
11.
It's OK, if I'm not quite up to standard in time I'll make up for the lack of a solid technique by playing louder....
Make sure that you ignore and, if possible, drown out those guys with the air horns...
12. In summary, that's a no then... :-)
13. I shall suggest it - back with response in a moment... :-)
