Fixed Sorry about that :-P Si
:-)
2. I quite like it, though it's not really my thing.
3. Ergh. Those theory lessons were a long time ago...
4. Ta. In which case, we'd be getting seriously out of 'bass' range...

That's better. Hadn't had an eye test yet this year...
6.
Would anyone consider a 7 string bass, where the top string is theoretically the same as an electric guitars low E (just tuned to F for the consistent pattern found across bass strings). I'm sure we'll find some advanced slap/tap expert on youtube in the near future completely destroying the bass and writing some solo bass arrangement or piece.
Wouldn't that top string be an octave up from the low string of a guitar? A guitar's low E is the same as the 2nd fret on a standard 4-strings D string...

Probably like the OC-2 some will swear that the older models are best, and some will say they're all the same... I have the white-knob version, whenever that was made. Sounds good to me!
8. Not spelled out, that I've seen anywhere... But should be around the same as the Whammy V.
9. Not using much in the ways of settings, but reasonable demo of Classic vs Chord settings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmqMQ5T_OHM
10. Could someone please bootleg my band's music? We need to get it out there more. ...plus, I could do with the money gained from suing you...
11. That is very very very very very very very very very very very nice. Darn it. That's another bass to add to the GAS list...
12. I use an EBS Multicomp. It's rarely voted to be the 'best', but it's sturdy, nice and simple, clean sounding (unless you ramp up the 'Tube' setting) and just makes everything sit nicely in the mix. I rarely if ever turn mine off!
13.
Well, I will be wearing my BC lanyard, and so will many other BCers visiting the show. I will also have a number of lanyards with me, which I can give to those who still haven't got one
I'll have mine on - Will come and say hi!
14. MXR Micro Amp is great for simply boosting the signal. One volume knob, that's it. Of course, if you want any options, it does not supply...
15. I mentionned it. She said "awww, how lovely! A compliment from a strange bassist..." No judgement on you, good sir, just a number of bumps on the forum for a lovely bass!
16. Haha! Will have to forward the complement!
17.
Thanks, hope you enjoy your purchase.
I love it, would love a fretted twin, but it would bring the wife's frowny face on...
18. It would be a simple fix. Also gives you the chance to have something to blend in or contrast with the bass.
19. This is such a nice bass in really good condition! If I hadn't just bought one, I'd be all over this!
20. I really need to do this someday...
21.
Ha, he's finally stopped keeping that one to himself. He's keeping the red one though, the crafty devil
Oooh, now a red one... I'd be into that!
22. Gaffer tape!! On reflection, a luthier will probably do a better job... They may be able to do a repair job on the wood, but that won't solve the issue of it being so thin. A sturdy scratchplate may be the business.
