Wow, great news guys!

In my band, we've kind of accepted that we're not going to be 'big' (nice if it happens and all, but...). That said, we still take a professional attitude to gigging - Be practiced, turn up on time, don't mess around in sound checks, wear decent clothing and yes, keep the stage tidy! There could be a point of view that it doesn't 'matter', but then again, it doesn't take that much more effort to make the stage (or floor, or corner or whatever) presentable. It's just part of the overall entertainment that you're providing the audience!

Always thought that I'd been sold a DB with a duff fingerboard til I read about this! It doesn't bother me, but can't see that it makes much improvement over a fully curved board...

Curious about this also. It seems a simple, standardised modification, but nobody seems to make these for mass-sale. There are a few who offer customised ones for your bass, but the number of us that play standard Fenders, Warwicks etc etc, you'd have thought that someone would have picked up the market!

How far off are we from finding out the big news??

Hey guys, can't see it mentionned before - The relay's made it into this month's Bass Guitar Magazine! Don't get too excited, it's only a tiny little piece, but hopefully will draw a few more peeps in!

I've recently been using the Line 6 M5 for practice/little gigs and am very impressed. Yeah, the distortion models could do with more bass-specific models, or a blend control, but on the whole, I haven't really found a bad sound in it. I'm very much a pedalboard-full-of-single-pedals kinda guy, but the M13 is calling my name... Think ultimately the answer is - Multi FX [i]AND[/i] lots of individual pedals...

I do remember reading an article on a bass player (cannot remember who it was), who was raving about a Fender 60's reissue bass that he had 'modified'. Went something like this: 'I changed the tuners, the bridge, the pickups and the electronics! I even replaced the body...!' Now, correct me if I'm wrong here, but is that really the same bass anymore...?
