1. Looks great - I must pay a visit!
2. For the few times I use it, my Analogman chorus gives me no cause for complaint :-)
3. Stick with what you've got for now. Despite what you may be led to believe reading reviews and forums is really isn't about the gear you've got at this point, it's about having an instrument that you're happy with and can learn/progress on. Better gear doesn't make you a better player, practice and experience does though.
4. Very tasty!
5. I can't believe this is still here - have a bump
6. Please keep the gear you know you'll soon regret selling. Nobody knows what the future will bring. I've just been made redundant after 33 years with the same organisation and now the shock has worn off the bitterness remains but now I resent all those 'wasted' years. I agree with 3below's mail above. Take care and let us know what you do
7. Put it down to experience, walk away and find something you feel comfortable with and enjoy - you'll know it when you find it. It sounds like the rot has set in from the start, and believe me, once the rot starts to set in you'll soon start to resent everything about the people and project. Good luck and let us know what happens.
8. I found a forum on recommended blues listening http://bigroadblues.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4246&start=90 I probably listen to blues more than anything else and have done for years
9. Sorry folks, I can't read this thread without posting this, the most awesome cover of JBG ever - Jimi's :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss_rk-RITts
10. My German Corvette just felt so right as soon as I picked her up, and sounds just as good. Perhaps the neck might be too slim for you though but I think it's perfect and is usually my 'go to' bass. Having said that maybe you could look for a Fortress One or Fortress Masterman? My German Fortress One has a thicker neck than my Corvette. Sounds and balances awesome. She'll be going with me to rehearsal tonight :-) I still love my P and 4001 but I've been a Warwick convert since first picking up and pluging in the Corvette. Happy Warwick hunting
11. Without hesitation I'd keep the Marshall
12. Sorry to hear that things went wrong this time but stuff like that comes along, it's just bad timing and very frustrating. It'll be all the more enjoyable when you do get to gig, I hope. An album - good luck with that! :-)
13.
"Vegan Bassist required"
Oooh, that would suit me then!
14. Welcome back! :-)
15. Welcome to BC :-)

17. Tons of old Trace Elliot gear out there that will last forever and serve you well :-)
18. Brilliant - thanks! :-)
19.
trace boxer 65 here - 65w and 12 inch - has heasdphone output but still ok for low volume practcice at home - ok for small/acoustic gigs (just)
+1 on the 65w Boxer. Great for low volume home use but generally loud enough for rehearsals. Cheap and reliable too!
20. If I won the Lottery I'd definitely have her ... but I haven't, so I can't
21. Here's the isolated bass track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPl-ToM9WiQ
22.
The whole ahead/behind of the beat thing is something I have never been able to understand.
Me too!
